Israel reported on Friday its first suspected case of the monkeypox virus at Tel Aviv hospital where a man who reportedly came back from a trip to Western Europe was hospitalized. Ichilov Hospital said that the man showed symptoms of the disease, but his condition is currently not life threatening, and he is being monitored while quarantining, Haaretz reported. Those infected with monkeypox usually experience fever, chills, a rash and lesions on the face and other parts of the body.
