A 19-year-old man accused of vandalizing an LGBTQ+ pride mural in Delray Beach pleaded not guilty on Thursday, though only after some confusion in court led the judge to issue a warrant for his arrest. Dylan Brewer of Clearwater was arrested on Feb. 12, a week after police said he performed burnouts on the pride mural in a dark pickup truck with a President Donald Trump flag attached. The city of Santa Cruz said they first received a report of the damage around 6 p.m. City officials said Black Lives Matter's A and C letters had been covered with blue paint. “This is deeply disappointing and completely contradictory to the values the City holds dear,” said City Manager Matt Huffaker.
