WASHINGTON (AP) -- Despite the objections of Democratic senators, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing Wednesday for Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Susan Bieke Neilson, the last of four Michigan judges President Bush has nominated to a federal appeals court. WEB SURFERS MORE POLITICALLY ACTIVE THAN GENERAL POPULATION, SAYS NIELSEN Americans who spend time online are more apt to be politically active than the population as a whole, according to a new study from Nielsen//NetRatings, which measures and analyzes Internet usage. Not only are more of this group registered to vote, but they are also more likely to exercise their vote during elections. I just heard on ESPN about Coach Neilson. I know he coached the Rangers, Flyers, and Canucks. I heard he was a good guy, and I know he was a good coach. My condolonces(sp) to his family.
