Imagine this: A 46-year-old former congresswoman and mother of three, who just lost a Senate bid to one of the most despised incumbents, sets off on a road trip adventure to clear her head. She instagrams part of her trip to the dentist. She gives a two-hour interview to The Washington Post where she shows no real knowledge of policy. Like a first-year college student, she pontificates on whether the Constitution is still a thing that matters after all these many years.

Along with Jim AcostaÂ’s near-daily antics, Wednesday and Thursday served as another example of how far too many at CNN need to be told to get a life. ThursdayÂ’s Inside Politics led off with more kvetching about every aspect of President Donald TrumpÂ’s surprise visit to U.S. troops in Germany and Iraq, including how he didnÂ’t meet with the Iraqi Prime Minister. Conveniently, the panel downplayed the broader and positive symbolism of having a President visit troops and footnoted the similarities between Trump and predecessor Barack Obama in not meeting face-to-face with Iraqi leaders. CNN Still Bashing Trump for Iraq...

It's a new year, but a CNN panel hosted by Nia-Malika Henderson took a few moments this weekend to reflect on Democrats' poor messaging in 2017 - poor messaging which resulted in their pacing far behind the Republicans in fundraising. As of November, the RNC had $39.8 million in cash on hand, to the DNC's $6.3 million. Watch video hereJake Tapper also remarked on the Democrats' dry fundraising on Twitter. It's kind of a big deal, he noted. Jake Tapper @jaketapper The fundraising superiority of @gop over @dnc this year is not to be dismissed and it’s kind of astounding...

Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's CNN Newsroom, CNN senior political reporter Nia-Malika Henderson claimed that the Republican party has been "playing the race card" for "many decades" as she commented on Republican reaction to President Donald Trump's recent comments in which he seemed to give cover to white racist rally participants in Charlottesville. At 9:08 a.m. ET, after recounting Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio's reaction to Trump's comments, Henderson continued: CNN's Henderson Claims GOP Have 'Played the Race Card' for 'Many Decades' I think you have Republicans who are going to have to figure out what they're going...

Seconds after President Trump’s Monday remarks finally calling out the KKK, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists by name, CNN hosts and panelists made clear that there was nothing Trump could have said that would have satisfied them, excoriating him for not going far enough and announcing “policy in terms of addressing this.†Inside Politics aired during and immediately after the President’s statement and Bloomberg’s Margaret Talev got the first crack, slamming Trump for not doing “outreach to people not white or who might feel that they were on the victimized end of the message that the protesters were carrying.â€Never Satisfied: CNN...

On Friday's Wolf show on CNN, during a discussion of whether Republicans can stay united after a divisive presidential convention, CNN's Nia-Malika Henderson recalled complaints by some Republicans that Ted Cruz "might not even be that much better" than Donald Trump as a nominee. She and CNN's Gloria Borger were then amused over "Lose with Cruz" as a possible campaign slogan for the GOP after Henderson suggested Republicans would prefer to have Cruz lose the general election as the nominee rather than have Trump heading the ticket.

HOUSTON, Texas – CNN’s Nia-Malika Henderson recently discussed Cruz’s standing as the ‘original outsider’ and how he has the record of leading the fight in Washington on issues important to American voters.Watch the video.Excerpt below:“In a cycle when everyone wants to be an outsider, Ted Cruz really is going into this week trying to brand himself as the ‘original outsider’ in some ways it sort of makes him sound like an outlaw.
Election returns from the Georgia Senate and gubernatorial contests will be closely watched tonight for what they might tell us about race, region and politics in the age of Obama.

Democrats are hoping for evidence of a demographic realignment they could benefit from -- if not now, then perhaps in the coming years. And Republicans are looking to hold firm, maintaining their firewall among Southern white voters who have grown more and more Republican in recent years.

Oh those looming racists at Fox News and the Republican-friendly super-PACs. They just might try to play the race card against President Obama. But not to worry! It would only backfire against them. So suggested Washington Post reporter Nia-Malika Henderson, appearing on this weekend's edition of the Chris Matthews show. Henderson assured viewers that if the Super PACs and Fox News "hint at that sort of [racial] language", there will be a "blowback" among independents and women. Chris Matthews was quick to chime in, adding that women are more devoted to "fairness" than men. View the video here.

Nia-Malika Henderson accuses Herman Cain of wanting to live in a post-racial world while playing the "race card." Unreal. "Well, I think, if we could focus a little bit on Herman Cain. I think Herman Cain is on one hand saying we're in a post-racial country, but at the same time he seems to play the race card when it comes to talking about African-Americans. Talking about in the ways in which they vote for Democrats. It's not something that he would, for instance, say about white evangelicals who vote in overwhelming numbers for Bush. Something like 75 or 80%....

Will Michelle Obama be dropping a thank-you note to to Nia-Malika Henderson? Interviewed on MSNBC today, the Politico reporter dismissed the suggestion that it was a mistake for the First Lady to turn up at a food bank wearing $540 French sneakers. For good measure, Henderson slipped in an invidious comparison with Ronald Reagan’s beloved, referring to her as “Queen Nancy.” Here was the exchange between Henderson and the MSNBC host:
