But some onlookers started shouting at the man, urging him to jump. Trained negotiators later arrived at the scene near the town centre and persuaded the man to come down....

I am the odd loner in my community who enjoys hearing tales of our American founding fathers, our heroes and was always completely fascinated by the letter of Sullivan Ballou by the civil war, the human struggle for an ideal they, themselves perhaps know little of... I would not go into detail what promted me to write this, perhaps I needed a channel to spout out my intense discomfort after having to constantly listen to and deal with professors in my college and their utter hypocrisy. I Love this country, I love it personally. I love the people; I love...

The debacle of the forged memos still could be turned around to hit hard on Bush. My suggestion to the Kerry's campaign is to write a few memos showing how Karl Rove and "Mrs. Ramirez" (was that the maiden name of Teresa Heinz?) prepared the forged memos and sent them to Rather to embarrass the Kerry Campaign, and have CBS to uncover them in the next edition of 60 Minutes. But dummies, be sure to use an old typewriter machine instead of a computer this time.
