I decided it would be fun on Karl Marx’s birthday to make a list of all the things and quotes I could offer during this pandemic to highlight the destructive nature of socialism: https://freedom-demokrasi-and-civilised-humanity.com/2020/05/05/using-fear-to-spread-socialism-and-attack-human-rights/ I only ended up writing down eight of them. In summary: 1 Premier Andrews. 2-5. Four attacks on our human social needs. 6. AOC 7. Marx 8 Chairman Mao contrasted with President Lincoln. I suppose this short list leaves plenty of room for other Freepers to entertain me by telling us all what you think about the ones I have left out. Go for it, my...

Sunlight destroys virus quickly, new govt. tests find, but experts say pandemic could last through summer.

What is life without freedom? What will the lives “saved” by lock-downs be like? I don’t think we know for sure. But the nanny state tyrannies terrify me. It doesn’t seem smart to let fear bring us down: https://freedom-demokrasi-and-civilised-humanity.com/2020/04/01/are-we-all-april-fools/

She may be America’s most famous freshman congresswoman, but in New York, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a virtual ghost.

She has no district office and no local phone number, unlike the state’s three other freshman members.

And it’s unclear whether the 29-year-old lawmaker, who represents the Bronx and Queens, actually still lives in the Parkchester neighborhood that has been so closely tied to her rise — even though she won her upset victory over fellow Democrat Rep. Joe Crowley with accusations that his home in Virginia made him too Washington-focused to serve his district.

Ahh, so cute, rubbing shoulders with their celebrity friends, Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen no less, and on Geffen's boat! How could we get through the day without knowing where this poser was spending his exile. His only lasting effect on the office of the President of the United States was to continue Billy Boy Clinton's soiree into the world of the celebrity president. Lot's of stars at the White House, surely makes for good political policy. All he wants is to be rich and famous and all he is, is inconsequential; which will become more and more obvious as...

Blast from the past. So which candidate has the love and ties for Russia? Nyet, not Trump. HRC urged Congress to revoke the human rights restrictions under the guise of helping U.S. cos. - at roughly same timme UraniumOne was changing to Russian control and the Clinton Foundation received its $145M quid pro quo. Will Sessions recuse himself from this too?

Not sure if this was posted yet but it is a fantastic read!

. . . what's most striking to the chart above isn't the spread between Trumpists and Clintonistas (though it is stunning, to be sure), it's that only a bare majority of the latter feel things are better now than they were 50 years ago.

In case anyone is unaware: All this talk about "1237 delegates means Trump is the nominee" is BUNK. That so-called "rule" is a temporary rule that can be changed at the convention. Therefore, Trump is not guaranteed the nomination even if he gets 1237, or 1400, or even 2000 delegates. They can change the rule to suit their #NeverTrump plan, and make the requirement 1 delegate more than however many Trump has. On the O'Reilly Factor tonight, Eric Bolling confirmed this. There are 42 convention rules in the rule book. Rules #26 through #42 are Temporary Rules that are written...

For years, Mac Slavo of SHTFPlan fervently warned his readers to stock up on physical assets and to prepare. His weekly economic posts proved of economic strife, but many believed he was all hype. It seems the day is finally here and we are looking at the possibility of this crisis being more unforgiving than its predecessor. Mac states, “All you have to do is look around. The signs are everywhere. There is an industrial recession in China, lackluster holiday sales prove there is a consumer recession in the United States, real estate is stalled and is re-collapsing and stock...

These things are not complicated, however, they will require both willpower and action. They will not be things that happen on their own. In order to stay out of a camp, you must do something very important: You must do things that others do not do, and you must not do what others do. Let us run with this concept in a scenario: You’re in bed…it’s a Saturday morning, and you don’t have to go to any of your 3 jobs today until noon. Your battery-powered clock seems to have stopped at 5:15 am. Puzzled you hear the drone of...

In monitoring the TV news in the wake of the San Bernardino terrorist attack one theme we hear over and over again has to do with the question of how a young, prosperous couple with a baby girl could leave all that behind to launch a murderous attack on innocent civilians. For the answers we need only look to Islamic doctrine.

RUSH: There's another theory going around, too. I just have to share it with you. I have no idea. I'm not on the inside with the Republican Party, and I haven't ever been, really. People have assumed, you know, that I'm the titular head of the Republican Party. If I were an ideas guy, that might be true, but I'm not, and I've never been. I've never chatted with Reince Priebus. I've never met him. I wouldn't know how to get hold of him other than look up the phone number at the RNC -- and I don't make phone...

Conservatives, Libertarians and even Republicans should use the stunning example to the bankruptcy of Solyndra to reach the obvious conclusion. Whether the Obama administration is corrupt, incompetent or simply the victim of ideological stupidity is almost beside the point. Of course it's all three. The larger point is one that Conservatives and Libertarians have been making for some time: that government screws up and the bigger the government the bigger the screw-ups. Only government intervention could have produced the housing bubble, and the economic rubble that we are living with was created by government policies. Only government can run up...

Blogger Libertyprunejuiceflipnjokersweezlezipperflavornews astounded the world, or at least part of it, by self-excerpting his own blog, but then posting the entire thing on FreeRepublic!!! "This is a first for the blogosphere! Or at least part of it!" said one source. "This is like, wow!!!" said another source, but with more exclamation points. "What's next, a blogger making his own videos instead of stealing them???" he added, with extra question marks. "But if he reverse excerpts, how will he get blog hits??????!!!!!!" inquired another, while popping a valium. Meantime, stuned observers recharged their beebers in nervous anticipation of the potential fallout....
