President Obama refused to take questions about Japan from reporters Thursday morning, telling them he'd make a statement about Japan later in the day. "I'm going to be making a statement later on Japan," Obama told reporters in the Oval Office after meeting with Ireland's prime minister. "So I'm not going to answer questions now." The White House later said the statement would be at 3:30 p.m. in the Rose Garden.

The purpose of FreeRepublic.com's multiple message boards is to limit the topics for each board to particular topics. Posting the same message on all the boards defeats the purpose of multiple-boards for special topics. It is very annoying to see the same message on every bulletin board. PLEASE! OK, here's my fear: I am up late on election night, and state after state that was considered a swing state falls for Kerry. After much attention to this race we all know that the fix was in, and that Kerry has stolen the election. What do we do? Does anyone else think Kerry has the fix lined up? Am I paranoid? Should I fear the fix?

That night was a scarry night. i live in Dallas, and our power was out from 9 'til about 3 or 4. I woke up at 3 and there were transformers blowing. I know someone who was driving that night and she could'nt see because of the trees. when I woke up there was leafs and sticks everywhere. The next night we had another storm and the transformers that connected across the street so they had no power and it was 90 something that day!

I have been a registered Democrat all my life. My family are from Arkansas via Tennessee, Kentucky and Virgina. My ancestors fought against Lincoln in the Civil War and the entire family has been Democrat ever since. But prior to that ... fought in the Revolutionary war. I believe in God and bear allegiance to America, liberty, freedom, and the Constitution of the United States of America - not some political party. And so for the last time I'm gonna tell you, this website is for the Constitution, not your bloodsucking party. In other words, kwitchyurbellyakin or bailthehellout!
