The subpoena also seeks bank records of James Biden, the president’s brother, which appears to be the first time another Biden family member has surfaced in connection with the investigation. The document, obtained by Breitbart News, specifically demands information on related transactions between JPMorgan Chase Bank, which the document calls “correspondent bank,” and the Bank of China, which the document calls the “originating or beneficiary bank.”...

An Oklahoma man was arrested at a Tulsa casino last week for allegedly faking his own kidnapping in order to collect ransom payments from his wife and friends, authorities said. Jonathon Michael Davis, 34, of Owasso, had been missing for three days when his wife reported him missing, according to the Owasso Reporter. She said she had received text messages from her husband's cellphone, purportedly from her husband's captor, police told the newspaper.

In one small Michigan town, another chapter is being written in a controversial library debate. On September 23, nearly 300 Owosso, Mich. citizens crowded a local middle school to discuss whether or not filtering software should be placed on all Shiawassee District Library computers. The filters would prevent patrons from accessing "adult content."

Authorities in Oklahoma are continuing the investigation into Monday night's kidnapping of Garth Brooks' ex-wife Sandy Brooks. Police near her home in Owasso, Oklahoma, say a bail bondsman showed up at her ranch to arrest a worker Quintine Cornelius Harper who failed to appear in court on an embezzlement case is Tulsa County. Brooks did not know Harper was a wanted criminal. He had been working on the property and was staying in an apartment located in the barn.
