Every four years Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government hosts aides from opposing campaigns for a frank postmortem of the presidential election. Harvard has been doing this since 1972 and usually the discussions are respectful. But according to the Washington Post, that’s not the case this year. When Trump’s team praised Steve Bannon, former Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri lashed out. .... Joel Benenson, another Clinton strategist said, “There were dog whistles sent out to people.. . .Look at your rallies. He delivered it.” Conway responded, “Guys, I can tell you are angry, but wow.” She added, “Hashtag he’s your president. How’s that?...

John Podesta said the defeat was due to a pro-Donald Trump bias in the media... “The media always covered her as the person who would be president and therefore tried to eviscerate her before the election, but covered Trump who was someone who was entertaining and sort of gave him a pass,” said Podesta. “We need to reflect and analyze that and put our voices forward.”... Palmieri: ..."we’re looking at a white board right now with lots of ideas,” said Palmieri. “We’re sort of figuring out what we need to do this week, and what we need Democrats to do...

A spokesperson for Hillary Clinton's campaign said Sunday that if Wikileaks were to publish a bombshell email in the final two days of the election, it would likely not be authentic. "Friends, please remember that if you see a whopper of a Wikileaks in next two days - it's probably a fake," tweeted Jennifer Palmieri, the communications director for the Clinton campaign.

The Obama Administration held talks with Sheik Abdullah Bin Bayyah, the vice president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, in the White House. The Investigative Project reported: Radical Egyptian cleric Yusuf Qaradawi is considered so radical that the United States bans him from entering the country. Qaradawi, considered the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood movement, has called for the killing of Jews and Americans. That history makes the June 13 White House meeting with Sheik Abdullah Bin Bayyah all the more inexplicable. Bin Bayyah is vice president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), a group founded...

A new WikiLeaks email dump reveals Hillary Clinton may have been boozed up at 4:30 in the afternoon when her campaign tried to reach her in August 2015. An Aug. 8, 2015, email exchange between Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and communications aide Jennifer Palmieri revealed the two discussing whether to call Hillary and “sober her up some.” “Should I call her and talk this through or better leave with you?” Podesta asked at 2 p.m. “I’m worried she’ll get on with Cheryl [Mills] and we’ll end up in a bad place.” It took Palmieri two hours to respond to...

Oh anti-Catholicism. You’re always in vogue. And just what we needed to add to this wonderful election journey. Today, the anti-secrecy and disclosure site WikiLeaks released more than 1,000 emails as part of an ongoing leak of the hacked emails of John Podesta, chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Previously, Podesta worked as the President for the Center for American Progress, or CAP, and the Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton. Within these leaked emails was a 2011 email thread titled “Conservative Catholicism” sent by CAP Senior Fellow John Halpin to Podesta and to Hillary for America Communications Director Jennifer...

A fresh batch of emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman and former counselor to President Obama, John Podesta, has been released by Wikileaks. As many as 1190 new emails comprise part of the latest release, adding to the more than 4,000 emails from Podesta already released by the whistleblowing website. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange claims they are sitting on a trove of 50,000 messages.

Hillary Clinton returns to the campaign trail today with a speech in North Carolina, amid a real tightening in the polls that has raised questions about whether she has been damaged by her temporary disappearance from the national spotlight. And the Clinton campaign is now hinting that it may undertake a change in strategy as the race enters the final stretch. The Clinton campaign today made a key concession about its analysis of the fundamentals of the race. This concession was made almost in passing, as an afterthought, in a statement released late last night by Clinton communications director Jennifer...

PHILADELPHIA — Hillary Clinton's campaign is bracing for the possibility of more damaging emails being leaked to the public as the presidential campaign enters its home stretch. Jennifer Palmieri, communications director for Hillary for America, said it’s possible that more emails will be released at a time designed to inflict maximum political pain to Democrats. “The WikiLeaks leak was obviously designed to hurt our convention,” she told reporters. “I don’t think they’re done. That’s how they operate. “We can’t know, but it’s part of the reason that we wanted people to understand our belief that the Russians are behind this,”...

After Sunday night’s CNN Democratic debate, MSNBC reporter Kristen Welker either could not or did not hear studio anchor Ari Melber telling her she was live and on the air. Unbeknownst to Welker, her mic was on, which allowed the entire broadcast audience to hear Welker feeding questions to Jen Palmieri, Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Director of Communication.

We are now officially in Hillary-in-Wonderland world . . . A senior aide to Hillary Clinton has suggested that the FBI would be happy to discover that Hillary's infamous email server was wiped--and not with a cloth. Interviewed by John Heilemann on today's With All Due Respect, Jennifer Palmieri--Communications Director for Hillary's campaign--insisted that finding that the server was thoroughly scrubbed is "the outcome they [the FBI] would want." Via the Examiner, count me in with John Nolte and Sean Davis in wondering why this grand humiliation is being treated as a Hillary scandal instead of a media scandal. It was embarrassing for the press, because they willingly allow this nonsense to keep happening. WASHINGTON (AP) — State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki will become President Barack Obama's new communications director, filling a key slot as Obama embarks on the final two years of his presidency, White House officials said Thursday. She replaces veteran Democratic media strategist Jennifer Palmieri, who is leaving the White House to join Hillary Rodham Clinton's likely presidential campaign. Psaki will step into her new role April 1. In a statement, Obama embraced Palmieri as a "good friend" friend and praised her as a "brilliant and effective communications director and trusted adviser."
