ANTIOCH, CA -- Officers shot and killed a pit bull Thursday night after its owner commanded it to attack officers searching a house, police said. A police dog also bit two suspects, but neither 23-year-old Daniel Jones nor 36-year-old Anthony Torres were seriously injured, said Sgt. Dimitri Barakos. Officers saw Jones leave Torres' house in the 2300 block of Tompkins Way at 3:54 p.m. A warrant had been issued for his arrest on suspicion of a parole violation.
