Okay, let's chat, Mods...There seems to be our own version of shadow banning going on here at Free Republic. It's not acceptable on Twitter, and it sure as heck shouldn't be acceptable here of all places.I've noticed several times where topics get mysteriously deleted. Not some -- as a mod might disagree with one -- but the whole slate gets wiped. When topics are deleted, the posts are no longer bumped into categories that people follow -- in other words, shadow banned. BOSTON -- Nine blinking electronic devices planted at bridges and other spots in Boston threw a scare into the city Wednesday in what turned out to be a marketing campaign for a late-night cable cartoon. It was bad enough when cartoons caused rioting in Muslim countries. As a native Bostonian, I am embarrassed at the level of hysteria caused by cartoons in my home city. In an effort to promote a late night Cartoon Network show called “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”, Turner Broadcasting hired some guerilla marketers to attach magnetic boxes with the lighted image of one of the characters on several locations around the city of Boston. The purpose of FreeRepublic.com's multiple message boards is to limit the topics for each board to particular topics.
