RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin has warned his armed forces are ready to use "more military means" to obliterate Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria as his fight against the terror group rages on. The Russian leader boasted about how the twisted jihadis have yet to see the full force of his aggression, as he said Moscow was ready to batter the militants with "the most modern weapons". I want to stress that these are by far not all of our capabilities. We have more military means. And we will use them - if need be."

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Friday that his country won't repay a $3 billion debt owed to Russia by this weekend after Moscow's refusal to accept repayment terms already offered to other international creditors. The "moratorium" on outstanding debt repayments to Russia effectively means that Ukraine is defaulting on a $3 billion debt due Sunday and could jeopardize crucial loans that Ukraine has been receiving from a $17.5 billion bailout deal with the International Monetary Fund.

Two protesters have died in the south-eastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir in a clash between police and Kurdish demonstrators over a curfew imposed as part of a security crackdown. Police fired tear gas and water cannon at protesters at a march called by the main pro-Kurdish party, the HDP. A number of areas in the south-east have been put under curfew as security forces battle Kurdish militants.

While there has been no further military engagement between Russia and Turkey since a Russian bomber was shot down by the Turkish Air Force last month, the war of words in the most volatile region of the Middle East continues to escalate. In a roundtable interview with reporters on Wednesday, a senior Turkish official accused Russia of conducting an “ethnic cleansing†campaign in the northern part of Syria. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin was reminding the world in general, and Turkey in particular, that not only is Russia a nuclear power, but that the Kremlin has nuclear-capable...

YouTube sensations Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson joined Donald Trump on stage at his Raleigh, North Carolina rally Friday night. "How great are they!" Trump exclaimed while the duo -- known as Diamond and Silk -- walked onto the stage. "I turn on my television one night," a hoarse Trump said, "and I see these two on television. I say 'they are the greatest.' They became an internet sensation." The Republican front runner then invited Hardaway to "do a little routine," which she eagerly accepted. "First of all, I'm glad that the media can see us," she said. "I want...

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called on opposition lawmakers in Kosovo on Wednesday to stop setting off tear gas in parliament, and on the young country to combat corruption, Islamic radicalism and ethnic division. In the Balkans for the first time as secretary of state, Kerry's brief stop in Kosovo underscored Western concern over the slow pace of progress 16 years after a U.S.-led NATO air war set the former Serbian province on the road to independence.

Even though some say Hillary Clinton would benefit if you were to be the GOP nominee, for the good of the country I want you to get out of the race. Your lies and vitriolic rhetoric are causing irreparable damage to the nation. In "The Leadership Challenge," a best-selling tome on leadership by James Kouzes and Barry Posner, 89% of people across the globe identify honesty as the most important characteristic of a leader. It seems counterintuitive, then, that despite spewing lies every week and managing to offend people of every race, creed and color, you have still managed to...

Despite fraught relations between the two countries after a Russian pilot was killed last week, the Turkey's PM demanded communication channels be opened up to stop similar incidents from occurring. Ahmet Davuto?lu told a news conference: "Our call to Russia again is to open military communication channels to prevent similar incidents happening. Let's keep diplomatic channels open." His call for dialogue comes after the Kremlin closed an emergency phone line with Ankara in anger at the attack, which Russia claims happened over Syrian airspace.

Russia released an extensive report this week tying Turkey's ruling family to the Islamic State. This comes after Turkey shot down a Russian plane over disputed region of Turkey and Syria. This report may also explain why Obama has allegedly been fighting the Islamic State for a year as they grow more powerful and larger. From the video: Yes, Russia is being opportunistic to release this information now after their jet was shot down. But, did Turkey (or the US) shoot down the Russian jet because it was interfering with oil shipments from the Islamic State to Turkey? The Kurdish...

President Vladimir Putin is fully mobilized to tackle what the Kremlin regards as an unprecedented threat from Turkey following the shooting down of one of its warplanes by a Turkish F-16, the Russian leader's spokesman said on Saturday. In comments which underscore how angry the Kremlin still is over the incident, Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, called the behavior of the Turkish air force "absolute madness" and said Ankara's subsequent handling of the crisis had reminded him of the "theater of the absurd." "Nobody has the right to traitorously shoot down a Russian plane from behind," Peskov told Russia's "News on...
