Democrats are worried that they have a problem: The three people leading polls in the very early stages of their presidential race are all white men. The party traditionally battles over identity politics and wants to be seen as promoting diversity. Its last three nominees have been Barack Obama, who became the nation’s first African-American president, and Hillary Clinton, the first woman to win the popular vote. Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) are this year’s top-tier candidates, according to a recent and very early Des Moines Register/CNN/Mediacom poll. It showed that 32...

Hallmark’s famed Christmas movies have been known for revisiting the same stable of stars — which until recently, hasn’t left much room for faces that aren’t white. But this season, the brand has made an effort for diversity. It’s no longer a whitewashed Christmas on Hallmark, though it still has a way to go for a truly inclusive winter wonderland.

The clothing chain Forever 21 said they were sorry for hiring a white model to sell its new “Black Panther” sweater, which has the words “Wakanda Forever” on the front. Of course, the film “Black Panther” broke ground, not only in the box office, but for being the first Black superhero movie to get major studio backing. The predominantly Black cast was also a different look for a superhero film, so many believed the person who modeled the sweater should’ve been Black....

Two days ago LeBron James posted a rap song lyric about "Getting that Jewish money." I did some research. A majority of NBA owners are Jewish. The last two NBA Commissioners were Jewish. LeBron's team, the Los Angeles Lakers, is owned by a Jewish family. In 2014, Donald Stirling, the Jewish owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, was banned from the NBA for life, fined $2.5 million, and forced to sell the team because he made derogatory statements about Black men in a private phone call to his mistress. Will Lebron get the same treatment?

The Twitterverse has some questions about a resurfaced video in which Louis C.K. and Chris Rock casually drop the N-word. A scene from HBO’s 2011 unscripted comedy talk show “Talking Funny” has recently caught the attention of people online. The clip in question features C.K. and Rock having a conversation with fellow comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Ricky Gervais. Rock told Seinfeld and Gervais how C.K. is “the blackest white guy I know.” C.K. responded by asking Rock, “you’re saying I’m a n****r?” “Yes,” Rock replied. “You are the n****r-est white man I have ever [met].” Gervais was thoroughly amused by...

“Mary Queen of Scots” is director Josie Rourke’s historical retelling of one of the most fraught and interesting periods of the Elizabethan era. But how much of it is fact and how much is fiction? The film, which is written by Beau Willimon (“House of Cards”) and based on a book by John Guy, stars Saoirse Ronan in the titular role as Mary Stuart and Margot Robbie as her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I. It also showcases a number of actors of color in prominent roles in both Mary’s and Elizabeth’s courts, including decorated Shakespearean actor Adrian Lester, who is...

More than 100 Academy members joined Winfrey, Disney chief Bob Iger and the talent behind 'Black Panther' — which hit theaters in February — for a toast to what Iger called a film that "actually had an impact on the world." Whether for books or political candidacies or Oscar hopefuls, there is no more coveted an endorsement than that of Oprah Winfrey, whose credibility and following enables her to mobilize the masses. Therefore, it was a major coup for Disney that Winfrey — on Monday night at the London West Hollywood hotel, in front of an audience of more than...

A former Navy SEAL, Ephraim Mattos fought the Taliban and ISIS, and later returned as a volunteer to help civilians in war zones, getting shot by ISIS soldiers in the process. Mattos made it clear he identifies himself as “simply ‘American,’ not as ‘white’ or ‘male’ or ‘Republican.'” So when CNN host Don Lemon declared last week that “the biggest terror threat in this country is white men,” Mattos had something to say... “After surviving three wars, a gunshot wound, a near fatal drowning, a failed parachute, Taliban ambushes, ISIS snipers, mortars, mine-fields, suicide bombers and laying down my life...

"One of the biggest arguments against the Democratic Party is centered around racism, so we ask the question, are the Democrats racist? Through-out the years, their members/affiliates have made blatant and also subtle racist remarks which the party does not deny (mostly). The interesting part, though, is that their main line of defense is a claim that doesn’t really have any grounds to it. The claim is that the Democratic and Republican parties have at some point switched stances in terms of racism." *Warning: This article was written by me, if posting it is not appropriate let me know and...

The Country's National Assembly approved a proposal to change the constitution to make the so-called reforms legal in a vote of 183 to 77. This paves the way for land to be taken from (white) farmers without any kind of compensation.

Kevin Hart is out as the host of the 2019 Oscars just a few days after he was in. That’s how it goes, these days. The internet giveth and the internet taketh away. Hart - an accomplished, veteran comedian - was forced to step down after refusing to apologize for “homophobic” tweets from some seven years ago. The celebrity class is largely silent. Everyone knows they’re on record saying something that their own outrage mobs would find untenable. No one wants to get caught in the tempest of their own making. But Hart’s displacement isn’t just about being forced to...

After months of criticism and protests, an embattled piercing shop owner says he’s closing for good. “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the final closing of PANGEA,” states a notice now posted in the window of Pangea Piercing, 211 E. Liberty St., in downtown Ann Arbor. “With organized Communists harassing my clients and attempting to doxx them, and a local media that’s all too comfortable taking rumors as facts, there’s just no way forward for me.” “It’s the official closing,” J.C. Potts, owner of the business that has operated on Liberty Street for nearly a decade, confirmed...

A black student blamed his “bottled up anger” for racist, threatening graffiti he admitted to scrawling in a bathroom on a Maryland college campus, according to a police report. Baltimore County police on Monday filed hate crime charges against 21-year-old Fynn Arthur, a Brunswick, Maine, resident who was enrolled as a student at Goucher College in Towson. Police arrested Arthur last Thursday on misdemeanor charges of malicious destruction of property. He was released from custody after a court hearing last Friday. State’s Attorney Scott Shellenberger said his office subsequently recommended the additional charges, which also are misdemeanors. “We felt that...

Fox News co-hosts Jesse Watters and Juan Williams fell into an on-air disagreement on Monday over whether the Democratic Party is "anti-white." Watters made the accusation while discussing what Democrats would need to do to see a major win in Tuesday's midterm elections, with the Fox News host questioning whether the Democratic Party can "be for diversity" but also be "so anti-white," as first reported by Media Matters. "Can the Democratic Party be for diversity, but also be against open borders, and not be so anti-white?" Watters said. "So far, they haven't been able to strike that balance. Right now,...

For some reason, students at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland are drawing a perverse conclusion from the arrest of a black student there for faking a hate crime with racist graffiti. The U.K. Daily Mail reports: Fynn Ajani Arthur, a 21-year-old from Brunswick, Maine, was charged with two counts of malicious destruction of property on Thursday night in Baltimore County. His arrest came after graffiti aimed at black and Latino students was found on the second floor of a campus dorm[.] ... Thursday's graffiti depicted swastikas, the letters 'KKK' and appeared to include the last names of four black students, including Arthur....

A black college lacrosse player has been arrested in connection with two incidents of racist graffiti found in a dorm on the Goucher College campus in Maryland. Fynn Ajani Arthur, a 21-year-old from Brunswick, Maine, was charged with two counts of malicious destruction of property on Thursday night in Baltimore County. His arrest came after graffiti aimed at black and Latino students was found on the second floor of a campus dorm, one floor above where similar graffiti had been found on November 14, Goucher College administrators said in a statement. Both incidents that shook the Towson campus involved backward...

PENDLETON, SC (WSPA) - The death of a high school student in a tragic crash may have sparked a racial divide and caused school threats on social media. It all started with an idea to honor 17 year old Dillon Padgett who was killed in a crash not far from Pendleton High School on Saturday. That idea ended with threats to bring weapons to the school. Padgett is best described by his friends as patriotic. So those grieving friends tell 7News they honored him on Monday at the high school by donning confederate flag shirts and taking a group picture...

The Democrats are the party of Jim Crow, black codes, and the Ku Klux Klan—but it’s the GOP that’s racist and has a racist history, or something. These historical debates get the Left and Right going on social media. Yet, a new study just drives the heart into the whole notion that liberalism is open and averse to racism. It’s the seat of irony. The report found that white liberals dumb themselves down while interacting with minorities in order to get along with them (via Yale Insights): Racial bias can put people of color at a disadvantage when interviewing for...

Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith has won Mississippi’s Senate runoff, defeating Democrat Mike Espy despite controversy over recent comments. Hyde-Smith had 56 percent of the vote to Espy’s 44 percent when the Associated Press called the race with more than three-quarters of all precincts reporting. The result means Republicans will hold a 53-47 majority in the Senate next year. The runoff for the remainder of Thad Cochran’s term was held because neither candidate got a majority of the vote in a crowded race Nov. 6.

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” correspondent-at-large Geraldo Rivera said he was “ashamed” of the way migrants attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border are being treated. Discussing border patrol agents using tear gas, Rivera said. “This goes to my soul. Fulfilling my role as the designated piñata on Fox News, I want to say I am ashamed. The tear gas choked me. We treat these people — these economic refugees — as if they’re zombies from ‘The Walking Dead.’ We arrested 42 people, eight of them were women with children! We have to deal with this problem humanely and...
