Opening the Book of Daniel I watched the opening episodes of NBC’s new sitcom (I think that’s what it was) “The Book of Daniel”. I was aware some critics had panned the show ,and that a few NBC affiliates opted not to carry it. Having watched the first two hours, I was happy to note there were frequent commercial breaks ;which helped break up the monotony of the archly written and played scenario.
