To celebrate Dan's departure, folks in the Big Ezy will be partying on Wednesday, March 9th from 5 to 6:15 PM at the Veterans' Memorial Park across from Lakeside Shopping center in Metairie, Louisiana. The Pelican Pachyderm Club and friends, including FReepers Patriot1 and Newslady, will be participating in a DAN RATHER "RETIREMENT" PARTY/JAZZ FUNERAL FOR LIBERAL BIAS IN THE MEDIA. We will be second-lining and celebrating to the accompaniment of a New Orleans brass band. To add to the atmosphere and to draw attention to this event, there will be fire truck and vintage police car.
