Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke won praise last year after he pledged to return a massive campaign contribution from Sam Bankman-Fried, the disgraced cryptocurrency kingpin charged with defrauding customers out of billions of dollars. But campaign finance records show the failed political candidate has not lived up to that promise nearly eight months later. O'Rourke has kept $100,000 that Bankman-Fried donated to O'Rourke's failed gubernatorial campaign, according to campaign finance disclosures released this week. A spokesman for O'Rourke said in November that the campaign had returned an "unsolicited" $1 million donation from Bankman-Fried just before the Nov. 8 election. O'Rourke received...

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is leading former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) by 6 points in the Lone Star State’s gubernatorial race, according to a new poll, days after O’Rourke officially launched his bid for office in his home state. The poll, conducted by the Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler, found that in a head-to-head matchup between the two candidates, 45 percent of registered voters said they support Abbott, while 39 percent said they are backing O’Rourke. Sixteen percent of respondents said they would vote for a different candidate for governor.

Robert “Beto” O’Rourke explained he plans to use fines to “compel” American gun owners to comply with his AR-15 ban, during a weekend exchange with reporters. O’Rourke made his claim in a video posted by Fox4 DFW’s Teresa Riley. He was asked how he plans to make Americans comply with his AR-15 ban and he said, “I begin by saying we expect our fellow Americans to follow the law. If they do not there would be a fine imposed to compel them to follow the law.” Question: what happens if people don’t sell their guns back to the govt....answer: pic.twitter.com/wGuXJlBZQG—...

It seems Beto O’Rourke can threaten ‘I’m coming For Your AR-15,’ But if you respond ‘My AR is ready for you’ that’s a ‘Death Threat’ WOW! Beto O’Rourke who has been spewing his rhetoric about screwing the 2nd Amendment, because if he’s elected President he’ll send the Government to your house and take your AR-15, if you don’t comply with his mandatory buy back. Since Briscoe Cain posted the message, Twitter of course, removed it for violating their “Your Not A Democrat” policies.

Briscoe Cain, a member of the Texas House of Representatives, had posted a Twitter message during Thursday’s Democratic debate in Houston, after O’Rourke said he planned to take away high-powered weapons from civilians if elected president. “Hell yes, we’re gonna take your AR-15,” O’Rourke, a former congressman from El Paso, Texas, said during the debate. “My AR is ready for you Robert Francis,” Cain responded, using O’Rourke’s birth name. O’Rourke made it clear he didn’t interpret Cain’s tweet to be a joke. “This is a death threat, Representative,” O’Rourke wrote. “Clearly, you shouldn’t own an AR-15—and neither should anyone else.”...

Unless you knew to look for bib number 173, former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke was easy to miss among the crowd of 141 runners this past weekend in North Liberty, Iowa, a suburb of Iowa City. O’Rourke donned a low-key look consisting of a white cap, shorts over black tights, and running shoes as he kicked off his Saturday with a St. Patrick’s-themed 5K while campaigning in the Hawkeye State. He finished in 24:29, good enough to place third in his age group (40-49). The 5K came just two days after another race announcement: On Thursday, O’Rourke posted a video...

RUSH: The hot-to-trot news of the day. Beto O’Rourke, Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, after saying he wasn’t gonna run for the presidency, today went to Iowa and flailed around with his arms gesticulating, wildly claiming he is gonna run. He’s got the craziest agenda. I hope these people keep talking. Every time these Democrats open their mouths, they are creating more Trump voters. Do not doubt me on this, folks. Do not doubt me. We have not become a socialist nation yet. These people are not appealing to a mass or majority of people in this country.Only in the Democrat Party...

While people in the mainstream media were delighted that Democrat “rising star” Beto O’Rourke held a “counter-rally” to President Trump’s visit to the border in El Paso, Texas, their coverage of Monday’s event was far from complete. Among the aspects of the rally that eluded the reporters’ attention were the people in the crowd who took great pleasure in slamming a large piñata that resembled Donald Trump and the Mexican flags carried by a number of participants. Even though many reporters attended the “Beto” rally, none of them noticed that some people in the crowd brought the piñata and allowed...

SHIRLEY, N.Y. — A little past 8:30 p.m., as the blistering July sun melted in the west, a jumbo jet carrying students, honeymooners, businessmen and others to Paris exploded in a fireball, raining carnage into the Atlantic Ocean off Long Island. It had been only a dozen minutes since TWA Flight 800 took off from Kennedy Airport. Initially, investigators were not sure whether the calamity that killed all 230 people aboard the flight on July 17, 1996, was caused by a bomb, a missile or mechanical failure. Just two days before the start of the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, it...
