Joseph Randle was arrested early Friday morning in Wichita, Kansas, and charged with rape, the latest run-in with authorities for the former Cowboys running back. WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Sedgwick County commissioners are being warned by the state not to ask participants in the federal Women, Infants and Children program about their citizenship. The Wichita Eagle reports the Kansas Department of Health and Environment says asking about immigration status before the state changes eligibility requirements could result in termination of the county's contract to operate WIC.

A 7-year-old boy is hospitalized after being attacked by a leopard at the Sedgwick County Zoo. Dispatchers said the call came in just before 1:30. Zoo officials said the boy climbed a guardrail to get closer to the leopard cage. The leopard was able to reach the child with both of its paws, injuring the boy on his neck.
