Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is offering Democrats subpoena power in exchange for their help in ousting House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Politico reported Friday. “He’s been talking to everybody about [ousting McCarthy],” Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, told Politico. “I told him in our caucus, in the Progressive Caucus, we’re not planning to save McCarthy — for a whole host of reasons.”

Sasse won reelection in 2020, and his term was not set to expire until 2026. But Sasse has been at odds with Trump and his own party for years. Based on some new calculations NASA has concluded that lunar craters may be electrified. While trying to resist throwing in a few puns about the 'shocking news' it may legitimately create a problem for future lunar missions. The reason is that the craters may contain water; water we want to probe for signs of life and to use as a resource for a potential colony.
