PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Sesame Place has announced the implementation of diversity and inclusion training for its employees following a $25 million class-action lawsuit alleging multiple incidents of discrimination after outcry sparked from a video of a costumed character snubbing two 6-year-old Black girls went viral online. Three agencies are teaming up with Sesame Street to prepare school children for the new threat of the H1N1 virus. The White House announced Tuesday morning that the Homeland Security, Education, and Health and Human Services departments are enlisting the help of Elmo and Gordon from the long-running educational show to teach children how to avoid H1N1, also know as the swine flu. Sesame Street duo held in crack bust Sullivan County sheriff's deputies arrested two people over the weekend accused of selling crack out of a Sesame Street apartment. Sanford McGill, 26, and Lisa Mann, 25, are charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony. The sheriff's office said they found about 6 grams of crack, a scale and packaging material during the search of the apartment about 10 p.m. Friday.
