The wife of the extremist who led the plot to kill hundreds of jet passengers prayed he would achieve the highest level of Islamic martyrdom, a court heard today. this with a huge grain of salt from the usual corner: No Quarter. **New Yorker Cover Cartoon NOT a Satire**? It is being reported today that Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times has in his possession a tape recording of an interview he once had with Barack Obama that may be very damaging to the latter’s campaign for the presidency. The tape (and the transcript of it) stem from a February 27, 2007 visit Kristof paid to Obama’s senate offices. A column Kristof wrote based upon this interview appeared in the New York Times on March 6, 2007. What...

Al-Qaeda Draws New Recruits Via Internet Al-Qaeda is using the Internet to recruit vulnerable young people to its terrorist network, according to a programme aired on Saudi Arabian TV late on Tuesday. Umm Osama, the founder of al-Qaeda's first women-only website, al-Khansa, joined several others on the programme to discuss how they renounced jihadist ideology. Among those who sought a response to this question was an imam from the Medina mosque, Saleh Ibn Awad al-Mudamsi, and the father of a young al-Qaeda suspect held in an Iraqi prison. Beckwith responds to The Washington Post. The first thing I have to say about "An Attack That Came Out of the Ether," published by The Washington Post on June 28th, is that at NO time was I ever contacted by this woman, Danielle Allen. I spoke to two male Post reporters, who spoke to me over the phone for a period of months. The first contact was in the fall of 2007. They told me they were trying to track down the source of emails they considered negative to the Obamamessiah. Allen obsesses about the "Muslim" Obama stories, but steers...

Farfur may be dead, but his message continues. A week after the children’s program Tomorrow’s Pioneers showed the Mickey Mouse lookalike being beaten to death by an actor portraying an Israeli interrogator, the show was back on Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV. The squeaky-voiced mouse was gone, but Friday’s program continued to preach hatred and praise Shahada – death as a martyr for Allah. This week’s messages came from the young viewers, who phoned into the show, expressed their views to the child host, Saraa’ and demonstrated how well they have absorbed the violent lessons of the show and possibly children’s programming....

Will Salah Sultan’s appearance at a rally with HAMAS terror chief Ismail Haniyeh derail his US citizenship application? Last July, an estimated three hundred thousand supporters of the radical Islamic Turkish Saadet Party gathered in Istanbul to rally in support of the Palestinian terrorist organization HAMAS and their kidnapping of an Israeli soldier. Among the keynote speakers at the rally were HAMAS terrorist-in-chief Ismail Haniyeh (speaking via videophone), former Turkish Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan (political mentor to Saadet Party leaders), and my own Hilliard, Ohio neighbor, Salah Sultan. Sultan, president of the Columbus, Ohio-based American Center for Islamic Research and...

Submit or die: An offer infidels can't refuse? Commentary By CLIFFORD D. MAY Many commentators have noted the apparent irony: The pope suggests Islam encourages violence _ and Muslims riot in protest. Many commentators have pointed out the apparent hypocrisy: Muslims are outraged by cartoons satirizing Islamic extremism while in Muslim countries Christianity and Judaism are attacked viciously and routinely. Many commentators are missing the point: These protestors _ and those who incite them _ are not asking for mutual respect and equality. They are not saying: "It's wrong to speak ill of a religion." They are saying: "It's wrong...

This is one case where silence isn't golden and ignorance isn't bliss. They are dangerous and dumb It's not easy to be shocked by jihad these days, five years and numberless atrocities after the Twin Towers imploded on almost 3,000 fellow citizens. That said, I admit my own jihad-fatigue was broken — shattered, really — by the "conversion" to Islam of Fox journalists Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig videotaped during their two-week ordeal as captives of Palestinians in Gaza. Why? Andrew G. Bostom, writing at Frontpage mag. tells us forced conversions to Islam "have been the norm, across three continents...

An interview with a Palestinian mother on PATV yesterday indicates the depth of the PA society's worship of Death for Allah (Shahada), and support of suicide terror, which has not changed merely because of a change of leadership. In this program, a Palestinian mother of a suicide terrorist talks about how she and other mothers in her position see their sons Shahada death as a positive event -- like a joyful wedding.

Video and audio: http://standwithus.com/shahada.asp This taped footage and the following commentary are from Palestinian Media Watch: http//pmw.org.il (Itamar Marcus, Director). "Ask for death" is the message that the Palestinian Authority [PA] has been conveying to its children since the start of violence in October 2000. In June 2002, two articulate 11-year-old girls were interviewed in the studio of official Palestinian Authority TV. Among other topics, they spoke of their personal yearning to achieve death through Shahada – Death for Allah – and of a similar desire they said exists in "every Palestinian child." It is striking that their desire for...

PMW reports documenting the comprehensive Palestinian Authority [PA] encouragement of their children to aspire to heroic Death for Allah, Shahada, have brought repeated denials by PA leaders in English. However, in their own Arabic language media they continue to see encouraging children to Shahada as a national achievement. In a candid interview this week on PA TV the Director of the Palestinian "Children’s Aid Association", an agency whose function is to help children, stated that as education policy with other values, Palestinians teach their children to aspire to Death for Allah - Shahada. The following is the text of the...

Children in the PA are brought up to see death for Allah, Shahada, as something expected of them. On Today’s children's page, the Palestinian Authority daily Al-Ayyam published a poem written by a 12-year-old expressing this longing. Also on the children's page, a political cartoon is published equating an Israeli hand grenade and death with an American Hamburger. Both these sentiments, yearning for Shahada and hatred of America are integral parts of PA ideology and the children's opinions are indicative of this ideology being passed on to the next generation. My Land By Omar Ali Amda (6th grade) I have...
