(AP) — Retired state employee, teacher and political organizer Bob Alexander announced Thursday that he is seeking the Democratic nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives' 8th District. Alexander announced his challenge to U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Brighton, in a gravel parking lot across the street from the former Wohlert Corp. in Lansing.
