If there is take your bullhorns and raise hell. Also ask your AG to file suits only in circuits where they have a chance. Skip the 9th, the Midwest 7th, and the Northeast circuit.

Obama's signing statements bring protestsPublished: Aug. 9, 2009 at 3:06 PM WASHINGTON, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama is expanding his use of "signing statements" in which he claims authority to bypass provisions of bills, analysts say. Despite blasting the unprecedented use of such signing statements by former President George W. Bush last year while on the campaign trail, Obama has used the power himself so far on five bills, in which he claims authority to bypass the provisions of measures he signs into law, The New York Times reported Sunday. His move to attach a signing statement...

As if creating Czars to control vast sectors of our country, firing Inspector Generals when they don't give a pass to his policies, and transferring the controls of the Census from where it should be to his Administration wasn't enough evidence that the man doesn't care what kind of promises he made yesterday, because it was all to get elected. Now that he is in power he just utters "nevermind." Via Hot Air comes this reminder of what candidate Obama said about the use of Presidential Signing Statements: Questioner: When Congress offers you a bill, do you promise not to...

EXCERT: There’s a little-known Presidential prerogative that allows the Commander In Chief to add “signing statements” to bills as he signs them into law. The purpose is make technical corrections in legislation or to guide officials in enforcing laws. “President Obama promised yesterday,” a slanted Washington Post’s article said, “that he would rarely impose his own interpretation of legislation by attaching statements when he signs bills, pulling back significantly from the controversial use of the tactic by his predecessor, George W. Bush.”...

SACRAMENTO – Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says he can't be bought. He has often lambasted state politicians for taking money from people with a vested interest in bills before the Legislature. "Here's how it works," Schwarzenegger said in a television spot when he ran for governor. "Money comes in, favors go out. The people lose." Yet during the four-week period this year when Schwarzenegger acted on the vast majority of bills passed by the Legislature, he raised far more money than his predecessors did during comparable periods: $8.7 million, about 14 times as much as Gov. Gray Davis ever did in...

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Ten years after he was acquitted of killing his ex-wife and her friend, O.J. Simpson was back in Los Angeles - autographing sports memorabilia for people attending a horror movie convention. Simpson acknowledged it felt "strange" to be signing autographs in such venue, but said it didn't occur to him that the date nearly coincided with the 10th anniversary of his Oct. 3, 1995, acquittal on charges of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. "I don't keep these dates in my head," Simpson told The Associated Press on Friday as he...

It's Christmastime and so another Jimmy Carter campaign to sell a book. This must be his 19th. In the fancy Westwood district of los Angeles last week, the lines snaked around the block at Borders, with each liberal awaiting the signature of our country's worst-ever president. But besides the book tour, Carter's also got a public relations campaign, and Reuters, naturally, is happy to spread the clichés. This Reuters title probably tells you all you need to know: "Mellow Jimmy Carter Finds Joy In Sharing." But to peruse the moldy Reuters template, we learn that Carter's been through it all,...

"I Love Hillary -- I don't care about the truth," a woman shouted from the open window of a minivan on New York Avenue in Huntington, Long Island, New York on Friday night. Former first lady Hillary Clinton had a pretty good turn out for her book signing -- Book Revue of Huntington, Long Island was packed to capacity on Friday. However, protestors were not too fond of the fact that Hillary was in town to support her book. Talk Radio legend Bob Grant of WOR710 in New York interviewed Carl Limbacher and I as protestors shouted "Buy the next...
