LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — According to Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command Twitter, a fatal crash that took 4 lives occurred Monday evening around 6 p.m. The crash location is southbound I-15 at Sloan Lane involving at least six vehicles. A preliminary investigation revealed a Red Cadillac was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes.A Toyota pickup was traveling southbound in the southbound lane. The two vehicles crashed head-on, causing the pick-up to catch fire with all three occupants of the vehicle dying on the scene. SIOUX CITY -- A Sioux City man has been charged with forgery after a Woodbury County Sheriff's deputy found 174 counterfeit $100 bills in his vehicle. The deputy found the fake bills after stopping a car occupied by Nicholas Thompson, 29, on Jan. 8 on Interstate 29. According to court documents, Thompson told the deputy he had won the money while gambling at WinnaVegas Casino in Sloan, Iowa.
