In a three-and-a-half-hour speech at the Nation of Islam's annual Savior's Day conference, Louis Farrakhan charged President Trump killed his "brother," Iranian terror leader Qassem Soleimani, without justification. "You know America is going to go to war. They killed Qassem Soleimani, and America is so powerful she has the right to define others," Farrkhan said at the conference Sunday in Detroit, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI. Farrakhan said he thought he had met Soleimani, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Quds Force. "Mr. Trump killed my brother Qassem Soleimani," he said.

A leading astronomer studying the origins of the space object known as Oumuamua has come out declaring it’s an alien probe with broken engines. Dr. Jason Wright claims that Oumuamua’s movement is that of a craft that has lost power to its engines. Right now, leading scientists are studying the odd “cigar-shaped” object which originated outside of our solar system. Teams lead by renowned physicist, Stephen Hawking, are attempting to discover whether or not Oumuamua is alien or natural. If a radio signal is detected later today, scientists will “proceed with caution.” Professor Avi Loeb, Professor of Astronomy at Harvard...

Well, now I'm a believer. What I saw this evening tells me that there IS something out there that isn't a star, isn't an airplane and definitively isn't a normal fluctuation in the atmosphere. I noted a "star"? in the SSW at about 30 degrees from the horizon. At first I thought it was just a star jumping around due to atmospheric fluctuation. After a few minutes I noted that it "jumped" from time to time. About every 3rd or 4th jump I noted a second light jump with it and then immediately return to blend with the brighter object...

Spaceships powered primarily by water could open up the solar system to exploration, making flights to Mars and other far-flung locales far cheaper, a recent study has found. A journey to Mars and back in a water-fueled vehicle could cost as little as one space shuttle launch costs today, researchers said. And the idea is to keep these "space coaches" in orbit between trips, so their relative value would grow over time, as the vehicles reduce the need for expensive one-off missions that launch from Earth. The water-powered space coach is just a concept at the moment, but it could...

MOJAVE, Calif. – Virgin Galactic's space tourism rocket SpaceShipTwo achieved its first solo glide flight Sunday, marking another step in the company's eventual plans to fly paying passengers. SpaceShipTwo was carried aloft by its mothership to an altitude of 45,000 feet and released over the Mojave Desert. After the separation, SpaceShipTwo, manned by two pilots, flew freely for 11 minutes before landing at an airport runway followed by the mothership. The entire test flight lasted about 25 minutes.

A suborbital spaceship owned by aspiring space tourism operator Virgin Galactic was airlifted into the skies over California's Mojave Desert on Monday for its debut test flight. The sleek, six-passenger ship, called VSS Enterprise, remained attached to its carrier aircraft throughout the two-hour, 54-minute flight. Virgin Galactic, an offshoot of billionaire Richard Branson's London-based Virgin Group, has collected about $45 million in deposits and fares from more than 330 aspiring amateur astronauts, each of whom will be charged $200,000 to experience a few minutes of suborbital spaceflight.

"A creepy string of calf mutilations in southern Colorado has a rancher and law enforcement investigators mystified. Four calves have been found dead in a pasture just north of the New Mexico state line in recent weeks. The dead calves had their skins peeled back and organs cleared from the rib cage. One calf had its tongue removed. But rancher Manuel Sanchez has found no signs of human attackers, such as footprints or ATV tracks. And there are no signs of an animal attack by a coyote or mountain lion . Usually predators leave pools or blood or drag marks...

Pennsylvania is definitely in the midst of UFO mania, but the good citizens of the state are not panicking, rather they are simply reporting the unusual craft that tend to make their appearance

I saw the interviews with Ron Paul on Glen Beck and Meet the Press and found myself agreeing with much of what he said. He referred to a movie called Freedom to Fascism so I decided to watch. I am a very skeptical person yet I am now convinced. For the sake of your future and the future of your family watch this movie and decide for yourself. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173 Link to VideoIf this post is removed I will be more convinced than ever

WASHINGTON - A new spaceship could be ready to replace the nation's aging shuttle fleet by 2011 — three years ahead of schedule — if lawmakers added money to NASA's proposed budget, the head of the space agency told a congressional panel on Tuesday. NASA Administrator Michael Griffin said that date is the earliest the new spaceship, or crew exploration vehicle, could be developed no matter how much money the agency received. Currently, the target date for building a new vehicle is 2014. With his pitch to Congress, Griffin underscored a point he has made previously about completing the spaceship...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A sample of comet dust, collected by a robotic space probe with what looks a bit like a big tennis racket, is scheduled to parachute down to Earth next month, NASA scientists said on Wednesday. The spaceship Stardust is coming to the end of its seven-year, 2.9 billion mile round-trip mission to fly by comet Wild 2, catching dust that could give astronomers clues about how the planets formed some 4.5 billion years ago. The ship will remain in space but a 101-pound (46 kilogram) capsule loaded with dust culled from the comet is expected to land...

WASHINGTON (AP) - Railing against the delayed relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said Saturday that the federal government should be charged with "criminal neglect of the people of New Orleans." "For five days, the government did not act. Lives were lost," Farrakhan said at the 10th anniversary of the Million Man March. "We charge America with criminal neglect." A crowd of thousands cheered as dozens of prominent speakers - academics, activists, artists and media pundits - spoke, recited poetry and sang songs in the 12-hour program on the National Mall. Most of Louis...

Brook Park- The sky was not the limit Saturday as NASA's space-memorabilia flea market gave earthlings a chance to take leave of their dollars and senses. But the heavens set one of the important standards for cost as 18 exhibitors hawked their historic wares in the auditorium at the NASA Glenn Research Center's visitors center. "Space memorabilia" suggests commemorative coins, heirloom news clippings and autographed pictures of astronauts. Those were for sale Saturday, and rarity was one way that value was established.

Light Speed a Barrier? To go, the children of tomorrow may have had to discover what is believed impossible today -- how to travel faster than light. Mel Zisfein, deputy director of the national Air and Space Museum, and an aerosynamicist amoung other things, has noted a similarity between the way most people today regard "C," the speed of light, and the way many people a generation or so ago regarded "a", the speed of sound. For this publication, he sketched the illustrations which appear on the following page, and drafted the following... "Some people used to look at...

No sooner had SpaceShipOne safely landed in the Mojave Desert, making history as the first privately-funded manned space vehicle, than government officials rekindled their desire to regulate this nascent private industry. Such concern for the safety of future space travelers is commendable but somewhat disingenuous, given Congress' rather poor record of oversight in maintaining the safety of NASA's Space Shuttle program. The revolutionary SpaceShipOne project was started by Burt Rutan partially in response to the challenge setup by the X-Prize. The prize was created to reward the first privately funded team that sent a three-person spacecraft into space on two...

A pioneering aviation company will attempt to rocket into space on Wednesday in a bid to win the $10 million Ansari X Prize. The prize will go to the first non-governmental vehicle that can ferry three people to a height of 100 kilometres twice within two weeks. Success in the second flight, currently scheduled for 4 October, would clinch the prize for the Scaled Composites team, based in Mojave, California. Thousands of spectators are expected to descend on the airport of the small desert town of Mojave, where the flight is scheduled for takeoff at 0647 PDT (1447 BST). A...
