Aussie airline Qantas has copped flak for telling employees to stop using words like “guys” and phrases like “mum and dad”. Qantas staff were encouraged to use partner and spouse instead of husband and wife, and parents instead of mum and dad because it excludes some LGBTI families, according to the new advice.
