A young mother and her two children were found murdered in Queens on Sunday and their killer is still on the run. Police say all three were found stabbed to death inside their apartment just after 7 p.m.

<p>BURLINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Police in Burlington say a deaf man was stabbed several times after his sign language was mistaken for gang signs by another man.</p> <p>Sgt. Mark Yancey said 45-year-old Terrance Ervin Daniels was using sign language with another deaf man. A third person saw them, thought they were flashing gang signs and stabbed Daniels several times with a kitchen knife. A neighbor saw the victim and called emergency personnel.</p>

The victim was walking down East Morehead Street at 5:10 p.m., using sign language with another man who was also deaf, said Burlington police staff Sgt. Mark Yancey.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - An Amsterdam barber has been arrested for stabbing a client with scissors, the second such incident involving the barber, Dutch police said on Saturday. The client was stabbed and seriously wounded after a fight broke out earlier this week at the barber's shop, police said. The barber stabbed another client with scissors in 2000. The man later died of his wounds, although the barber was cleared of any charges after a court found he had acted in self-defense.
