Back in August, Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller called for accountability for military leadership on the disastrous and catastrophic exit from Afghanistan. He did so knowing he was risking his career and would likely face punishment for doing so. "The reason people are so upset on social media right now is not because the Marine on the battlefield let someone down," Scheller said. "People are upset because their senior leaders let them down and none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability or saying, 'We messed this up.'"

Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher said on Wednesday that PayPal “deplatformed” his Pipe Hitter Foundation after setting up a fundraiser for Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, the Marine officer who went viral for demanding accountability after the chaotic evacuation from Afghanistan.“Just hours after launching our campaign for LtCol Scheller he has been deplatformed by @paypal,” Gallagher said in his Wednesday Facebook post. “Big Tech has been doing this for years to silence, crush, and intimidate individuals and their families and destroy their livelihoods.”

A Marine who claimed he was "relieved from duty" after going viral for criticizing military leadership over the withdrawal from Afghanistan now speculates he might be court-martialed and "will probably do some jail time." Stuart Scheller, who claims now to be a former lieutenant colonel, has been posting regular updates about his dissenting stance that led to his alleged removal from the military, saying in a Wednesday update to a video he uploaded to social media on Aug. 27, "The Marine Corps will assign an investigating officer. Most likely a Colonel." Scheller's initial video posted last week came just hours...

The US Marine Corps officer who was relieved of his command over a battalion for chastising his bosses over the botched Afghan withdrawal has revealed that he was ordered to undergo a mental health screening. “When I went into work this morning, I was ordered by my commanding officer to go to the Hospital for a mental health screening,” Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller wrote on Facebook on Monday. “I was evaluated by the mental health specialists and then sent on my way. My CO is a standup guy, and I understand why he did it,” he added. A day earlier,...

I previously covered how Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller was relieved of duty after he demanded military leadership show some accountability when it came to the grievously bad decisions made in Afghanistan. He spoke out, knowing it might have that consequence of him being relieved. He particularly pointed out the bad decision of not retaining Bagram Air Base to help with the evacuation. As we reported earlier today, he said that “The baby boomers’ turn is over. I demand accountability, at all levels. If we don’t get it, I’m bringing it.”He clearly doesn’t think the military leadership is owning up yet,...

A US Marine Corps veteran who was relieved of his command for chastising his bosses over the botched Afghan withdrawal has decided to call it quits. Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, who came under fire after the bombastic Facebook post last week, said on YouTube Sunday that he’s sticking by his guns and resigning his commission — walking away from a $2 million pension after 17 years of military service. “I could stay in the Marine Corps for another three years, but I don’t think that’s the path I’m on,” Scheller said. “I’m resigning my commission as a United States Marine...
  • Marine demands senior leaders accept 'accountability' for Afghanistan, gets canned

Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller was relieved for cause after demanding that senior U.S. leaders hold themselves accountable for actions made during the U.S. military's withdrawal from Afghanistan that led to the deaths of 13 service members. Officials confirmed to Fox News on Thursday that 10 Marines and two Army soldiers, as well as one Navy corpsman, were killed in explosions near Kabul's airport Thursday. Another 169 Afghans were killed, according to two officials who spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity. Scheller, a father of three who has been in the USMC Infantry for 17 years, mentioned...
