The FBI is seeking to block the release of its records pertaining to a since-retracted memo that said that traditional Catholic communities presented an opportunity for surveillance. Reports are coming in of an apparent break-in attempt at the FBI’s field office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The FBI’s Cincinnati office issued a statement on Twitter saying that at around 9:00 A.M. ET, “an armed subject attempted to breach” the office’s screening facility. “After an alarm and a response by FBI special agents, the subject fled north onto Interstate 71,” the rest of the statement reads.
