Today’s headlines announce the final withdrawal of US combat troops from Iraq. So, I’m wondering: when will we see a victory parade? The US has a tradition of celebrating victories in war by parading troops in major US cities. Certainly, US service members deserve to be recognized and thanked for their sacrifice and victory.
