MSNBC political commentator and author George Will said Friday on “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that former president Donald Trump demonstrated how rapidly one man with a “lack of conscience” can change the entire tone of public life for the worse. Mitchell said, “In your new book, you write that it has been well said that the United States is the only nation founded on a good idea, the proposition that people should be free to pursue happiness as they define it. In recent years, however, happiness has been elusive for this nation in which too many people think and act as...
  • Why It’s Ignorant And Racist To Pretend U.S. Lands Still Belong To Native Tribes

Like most new racial history exercises, land acknowledgments are less about a true reflection of the past than grievance politics and superficial gestures.Leftist media was all aglow on Feb. 23, when Interior Department Secretary nominee Deb Haaland began her testimony before the Senate by stating: “I acknowledge that we are on the ancestral homelands of the Nacotchtank, Anacostan, and Piscataway people.”A Vox article gushed: “It’s likely the first time a Cabinet nominee acknowledged tribal lands upon testifying before the Senate.” An indigenous activist in the Washington Post called it a “rebuke of … the countless politicians and bureaucrats who dedicated...
  • Black Twitter users mock Dems for donning kente cloth: 'Don't treat Africans like we're children'

Congressional Democrats' attempts to look woke appeared to backfire on them Monday when a series of black Twitter users accused them of cultural appropriation. Author Obianuju Ekeocha posted a video telling Democrats to stop "virtue signalling" by wearing African cloth in the Capitol. "Excuse me, dear Democrats," she said. "In your tokenism, you didn't wait to find out that this thing that you're hanging around your neck is not just some African uniform -- it's actually the kente material. The kente belongs to the Ghanaian people, mainly the Ashanti tribe.
  • Pelosi Breaks With DCCC, Endorses Pro-lifer

Nancy Pelosi is about to lose some progressive friends after deciding to endorse Rep. Dan Lipinski in his re-election bid in Illinois's 3rd congressional district. Lipinski, you see, is one of the very few conservative Democrats left. He has a record of opposing abortion, gay rights and Obamacare. Asked at her weekly press conference Thursday if she supports him, Pelosi replied, "Yes, I do." It is an endorsement even the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has refused to offer. Other Democrats have gone one step further, endorsing his primary challenger, Marie Newman. “This is not a rubber-stamp party,” Pelosi told The...
  • The Unbearable Whiteness of Being Maureen Dowd

And a delicious dish it is. A stew of race, the New York Times, media hypocrisy and double-standards. All inadvertently stirred by the lovely and talented Times columnist, the white female Maureen Dowd. You know all those fevered editorials they churn out over there at the New York Times editorial board? Like, for instance, the hot fury published on June 30 wonderfully titled "Firefighters and Race." In this jewel the Times editorial board makes its displeasure plain in the very first sentence, huffing that the Supreme Court decision in favor of the New Haven firemen has "dealt a blow to...

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION GONE AMOK by Timothy Rollins, Editor and Columnist September 11, 2008On the seventh anniversary of World War III, most Americans still haven't learned a damn thing since terrorists declared war on the United States. Rather than unite as one people against the greater common threat of terrorism, evil and designing Democrats continue to practice their depraved politics of division on the American people with reckless disregard for our safety as a nation. Once again, Democrats are asking us to drink their Kool-Aid, and this year, Americans of conscience are again going to take a pass, notwithstanding liberal media...
  • Senate Republicans Work $4.4 Billion Border Security Amendment

WASHINGTON — GOP negotiators of an immigration reform bill are crafting a large border security amendment with mandatory, immediate funding that they hope will assuage concerns of both Republicans and Democrats, FOX News has learned. The senators are looking at a way to please conservatives who are skeptical Congress will ever fund the bill's border security provisions, as well as keep Democratic negotiators on board in a last ditch effort to save the comprehensive reform bill. It is a political tightrope fraught with peril, but the members know they need more Republican support to break through the logjam. South Carolina...

PEPPERDINE UNIVERSITY, California, September 19, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry gave a speech yesterday at Pepperdine University in California, calling for pro-life supporters and abortion proponents to achieve “common ground” between their irreconcilable positions over abortion. However, the dubiously “Catholic” Kerry also spliced many references to his “faith” and Catholic upbringing in his speech, in what critics contend is an attempt to weaken the pro-life movement and win back Catholic voters to the Democratic Party. “Even as a supporter of Roe v. Wade, I am compelled to acknowledge that the language both sides use on this...

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- New Mexico placekicker Katie Hnida alleges she was a target of sexual harassment in 1999 when she was on the football team at Colorado. "I was treated much more like a piece of meat there," she said in a story in The Albuquerque Tribune on Friday. "Because I'm a pretty feminine gal, and they didn't respect that about me." Hnida on Friday declined to speak with The Associated Press about her time at Colorado and the allegations she raised. "I have nothing to say," Hnida, a senior at New Mexico, said after a practice session. Hnida told...

I recently finished reading a book for my college class. The book is entitled "Working with Words" and it is by Brian Brooks, James L. Pinson, and Jean Gaddy Wilson. The book is supposed to teach you the writer how to write using AP style. I was fine with the book until the 13th chapter. The subject drifts completely away from grammer, and the authors go into a unrelated diatribe on racism. Naturally being a conservative I was very upset by this, and will use this the next time I hear some liberal say that America's colleges aren't left leaning....
