Requesting help from Fellow Freepers. Major screw-up. Flew in from S. Korea and tried to update my TOMTOM GPS in order to help me find my way around the Sumter, SC area. To make a long story short....I think I corrupted and/or deleted files actually embedded on the GPS. Now can't get it to do anything. Satellite navigation system maker TomTom indirectly sells details of motorists’ driving behaviour to the police for use in determining where speed traps should be placed, the AD reports on Wednesday. Almost half the country’s police forces use this method of deciding where to put cameras and speed checks, the paper says. The company’s terms and conditions make it clear that information gleaned from the sat nav systems can be sold to other companies. In the U.S. District Court in Seattle, Microsoft sued Tom-Tom (PDF Link) on the ground that Tom-Tom's in-car navigation devices violate eight of its patents. We take a visit to the gardens during this growing season. We have a pic and a video of a baby rabbit. Okay, so it's not a movie of legend, it is cute.
