My brother Jerry is a deacon in his all-black church. Jerry called to tell me he confronted his pastor, telling him it is unchristian to include a hateful rant against Trump in every sermon. His pastor firmly believes Trump is a rabid racist. I asked Jerry, "What was your pastor's response?" Jerry said his pastor gave him the same blank stare he always receives from fellow blacks when he states commonsense views that are contrary to Democrat lies believed by that most blacks. Condescendingly, Jerry's pastor said he understood his concerns. Meanwhile, his attacks on Trump from the pulpit continue....
  • Trump governs by disruption — and overloads all the circuits (BARF)

Nine months into his first term, President Trump is perfecting a style of leadership commensurate with his campaign promise to disrupt business as usual in Washington. Call it governing by cattle prod. It is a tactic borne of frustration and dissatisfaction. Its impact has been to overload the circuits of government — from Capitol Hill to the White House to the Pentagon to the State Department and beyond. In the face of his own unhappiness, the president is trying to raise the pain level wherever he can.

Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson, a former senior aide to President George W. Bush, used his Friday op-ed to warn establishment Republicans that “the time for panic and decision is upon us.” Gerson urges Republicans to join Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) in publicly raising two questions: “Is Trump psychologically and morally equipped to be president? And could his unfitness cause permanent damage to the country?” If the reports are true that the majority of Senate Republicans agree with Corker’s comment that Trump could cause “World War III,” then Gerson exhorts them to publicly act on their convictions. Though Gerson does not...

1 min. video of nut Brad Sherman at link. (CNSNews.com) - Rep. Brad Sherman (D.-Calif.) said in a speech on the House floor on Thursday that President Donald Trump has “an uncontrollable person need to pour disgusting liquids on anything associated with President Obama.” In July, Rep. Sherman filed articles of impeachment against President Trump—that have gone nowhere in the House—and last week put out a press release entitled “The Case for Impeaching Donald J. Trump.” In his speech on the House floor, which was televised on C-SPAN and reported in the Congressional Record , Sherman did not specify exactly...

Donald Trump is not fit to be president of the United States. He does not possess the requisite intellect and does not understand the significance of the office he holds nor the tasks associated with it. He doesn't read. He doesn't bother to peruse important files and intelligence reports and knows little about the issues that he has identified as his priorities. His decisions are capricious and they are delivered in the form of tyrannical decrees. He is a man free of morals. As has been demonstrated hundreds of times, he is a liar, a racist and a cheat. I...

In the next edition of Donald Trump can do nothing right ever, we give you the National Anthem. Shortly before delivering Memorial Day remarks Monday at Arlington National Cemetery, President Trump joined with the audience in the traditional signing of America’s national song. Unlike a lot in Trumpland, it all went off smoothly — but that still didn’t stop a certain class of Twitter liberal from taking exception. The crime this time was Trump’s personal rendition of the anthem, which trolls online apparently deemed insufficiently respectful — or something. Here’s a snapshot of the miasma of faux outrage. • Trump will be IMPEACHED: Clinton returns to her university to launch all-out attack on president

Hillary Clinton suggested her campaign rival President Trump will get impeached, in sharp remarks in a commencement address Friday where she brought up 'obstruction of justice' and warned of the steps to authoritarianism. Speaking to gowned graduates at the school where she addressed students in 1969, Clinton referenced the resignation of President Richard Nixon and a House committee's impeachment investigation – but it was clear to graduating students what she was really talking about.

Former House Speaker John Boehner said earlier this week that Donald Trump’s presidency has been “a complete disaster” thus far and that the billionaire-turned-commander-in-chief is still learning on the job. “Everything else he’s done [in office] has been a complete disaster,” Boehner said during a question-and-answer session at a conference in Houston on Wednesday. “He’s still learning how to be president.” ~snip~ He seemed content with his life as a retired politician and was quick to shoot down any talk of a future presidential bid. “I wake up every day, drink my morning coffee and say hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,” Boehner...

Las Vegas (CNN) — Jeb Bush just gave the political equivalent of an "I told you so" to President Donald Trump. "When I ran for office, I said he is a chaos candidate and would be a chaos president," Bush said on Friday. "Unfortunately, so far chaos organizes the presidency right now," he said, speaking at the annual SALT hedge fund conference, which is headlined by bigwigs from the world of politics, finance, sports and entertainment. Bush said it appears the Trump administration is "living in the tyranny of the moment" instead of "executing on a clear agenda."(continued)

Uhhhh. I’m not very happy with what has happened so far. I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out. This is why we voted for him. I think everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque, it was the issues. I hate to say it, but I agree with every line in my friend Frank Bruni’s op-ed in The New York Times today. Where is the great negotiation? Where is the bull in the china shop we wanted? That...

President Trump woke up angry on Friday. By 9:30 a.m. Eastern, he’d already tweeted seven times, railing against the media and the investigation into possible ties between his campaign and Russian interests. In one tweet, he defended his deputy press secretary for having offered an explanation for the firing of FBI director James B. Comey that Trump himself later contradicted. As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!…. — Donald J. NBC News handpicked anti-Trump tykes for two propaganda videos to make it appear that every child in American thinks Pres. Trump is an ignorant racist and threat to the country. Not one child in either “Dear Mr. President: kids Talk Trump” or “Dear Mr. President: Letters from the American Children” says he actually supports Trump’s efforts to keep America safe from terrorism or stop the influx of illegal aliens. Both videos open with smarmy, false compliments to give the illusion that these kids haven’t been indoctrinated by leftist teachers and liberal media…but, then, both launch into unrelenting snide rebukes couched...

.....Falcons owner Arthur Blank expressed concern about Trump because on Holocaust Remembrance Day, Trump’s commemorating statement did not specifically mention the six million Jews who were killed during World War II. Blank himself is Jewish. “I’m troubled by anything directionally in our country that separates people,” Blank told Newsday. “America started without any of us, other than Native American Indians. This country was built on inclusion and diversity, on celebration of those differences, supporting those differences...

Donald Trump is a one-man basket of deplorables. He is a braggart and a liar. He is a bully and a demagogue. He is an ignoramus and a deadbeat, a chiseler and either a sincere racist or an insincere one, and his love for himself is matched only by my loathing of him. He is about to be president of the United States. A constitutional coup may be in the offing. Since winning the election, Trump has not moderated his behavior. He still behaves like a brat — his childish tweet zinging Arnold Schwarzenegger for failing to get Trumpian ratings...

“There was one performance this year that stunned me — it sank its hooks in my heart,” Ms. Streep said. “Not because it was good; there was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh, and show their teeth. “It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter,” she said, referring to a speech in 2015 when Mr. Trump shuddered and flailed his arms, appearing to mock a disabled reporter at The New York Times. “It...
