Donald Trump took a new swipe at Bill and Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, tweeting a double-barreled insult about the former president's economic record and his penchant for messing around. Hillary said Sunday that she plans to put her husband in charge of revitalizing the American economy if she wins the White House. Trump said the former secretary of state should be able to do the job herself – and hinted that the famously randy Bill could bring a host of troubles with him if he returns to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. 'Crooked Hillary said her husband is going to be in...

Donald Trump said in an interview that Hillary Clinton’s “past is really the thing, rather than what she plans to do in the future. Her past has a lot of problems, to put it bluntly.” As rosy exit polls began coming in from Indiana on Tuesday night, Donald Trump turned his attention to the next phase of his run for the White House — and his next opponent, Hillary Clinton. The general election, he suggested in an interview, will not find him dialing back his scorched-earth approach to winning. “Her past is really the thing, rather than what she plans...

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is optimistic about his chances of winning a general election match-up versus Hillary Clinton because she hasn’t been vetted before, spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said Wednesday. “Oh, absolutely,” Pierson said in response to a question about Trump’s enthusiasm for facing Clinton in November. “Mainly because Hillary Clinton has never been truly vetted before. Particularly by the media,” she said to MSNBC’s Tamron Hall. “How many times has Hillary Clinton been asked about the specific role in Benghazi outside of the testimony?” Pierson asked.

The two leading Republican candidates for president warn the U.S. stock market is trading at an alarming level. On Friday, Ted Cruz predicted a stock market "crash will be coming." Donald Trump calls it a "terrible time" to invest. "We're in a bubble right now," Trump says. It's a high degree of fear from a party that is normally viewed as pro-business and pro Wall Street. Trump recently told The Washington Post that America is on track for a "very massive recession."

Donald Trump said in an interview that economic conditions are so perilous that the country is headed for a “very massive recession” and that “it’s a terrible time right now” to invest in the stock market, embracing a distinctly gloomy view of the economy that counters mainstream economic forecasts. The New York billionaire dismissed concern that his comments — which are exceedingly unusual, if not unprecedented, for a major party front-runner — could potentially affect financial markets. “I know the Wall Street people probably better than anybody knows them,” said Trump, who has misfired on such predictions in the past....

On Tuesday during CNN's town hall, Donald Trump was asked what he thinks are the top three functions of government. He answered, "[t]he greatest function of all by far is security for our nation. I would also say health care, I would also say education." Republicans have long tried to limit the federal government's involvement in health care and education.

Say what you want about Donald Trump, but he has an instinctive knack for zeroing in on an opponent's inherent weakness. With Jeb, it was "low energy." That term exploited a key perception problem of Jeb, and one he couldn't shake. So to did "Little Marco," which may have ended not only Marco Rubio's presidential campaign, but his political career . . . More heavyweights are jumping in to stomp Trump, including Elizabeth Warren. Asked about her jabs, he pounced: "I think it's wonderful because the Indians can now partake in the future of the country. She's got about as...

Donald Trump has just smashed another politically correct taboo, and the consequences will be profound. Speaking to Anderson Cooper in a CNN interview, he blatantly stated what I suspect a majority of Americans believe: “I think Islam hates us.” This is a discussion long overdue. CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO The outrage developed almost immediately, and almost all of it misquoting Trump, as if he said all Muslims hate us. See, for example, Cenk Uygur, who dismisses this as “unbelievably ignorant,” and claims that nobody can speak for Islam: CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO Actually, it is very...

“To me the (Cuba) embargo question is no question at all. Of course, we should keep the embargo in place.” (Donald Trump June 25, 1999.)“I think its fine. I think its fine…The concept of opening with Cuba is fine..but we should have made a better deal.” (Donald Trump Sept. 8, 2015.)So what happened? What caused this “anti-establishment” Republican candidate to join hands on this issue with The Council on Foreign Relations, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, The Trilateral Commission, The Davos Group, The Organization of American States, The United Nations, the Congressional...

Donald Trump on Saturday questioned whether President Barack Obama would have skipped late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s funeral had it been held in a different venue: a mosque. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/701084443889381377?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Scalia’s funeral Mass began Saturday morning in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the largest Roman Catholic church in the U.S. Obama and first lady Michelle Obama paid their respects to Scalia on Friday as he lay in repose in the Great Hall of the Supreme Court but did not attend the funeral.

Trump has dropped many such payloads through the first seven months of his campaign....And so, to make life a little easier for the attack dogs of the GOP Establishment, we've assembled the Collected Truth Bombs of Donald J. Trump. Climb into your bunker and hear them roar! *George W. Bush did not keep us safe. *The world would be safer if Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gadhafi were still in power. *If we topple Bashar al-Assad, he could be replaced by something worse. *NAFTA hurt blue-collar workers. *Hedge-fund managers can afford to pay more taxes. *Bill Kristol is terrible at predicting...

Just who is Donald J. Trump's Prince, and why has he come now to buy into the Plaza Hotel? Prince Walid bin Talal is the Saudi ruling family's most prominent -- and most adventurous -- international investor, with large stakes in Citicorp, Four Seasons Hotels, Fairmont Hotels, Euro Disney and Saks Fifth Avenue, which is controlled by Investcorp of Bahrain.

Earlier today GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump retweeted an obviously fake photo featuring a woman in a burqa, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly and Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Talal. Prince Talal noticed and issued a response. It's not clear what bailouts Talal is referring to, but this certainly is a rocky start to diplomatic relations should Trump win the White House. This isn't the first time the two have feuded. In the past, Trump referred to Talal as a "dopey" prince. Prince Talal noticed and issued a response. It's not clear what bailouts Talal is referring to, but this certainly is...

The clearest example comes from a tweet sent by Trump on Nov. 6, 2012. "The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive." On Jan. 18, after Sanders had attacked Trump's climate change views in the Democratic debate, Trump told Fox & Friends, "Well, I think the climate change is just a very, very expensive form of tax. A lot of people are making a lot of money. I know much about climate change. I'd be -- received environmental awards. And I often joke that this is done for the...

"They say I have the most loyal people - did you ever see that? - where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters," Trump said, illustrating his point by pulling his fingers into a gun shape. "Okay? It's like incredible." The crowd laughed and clapped, and someone in the audience shouted out love for the candidate. "We love you, too, man," Trump said. Trump's comment came during a campaign rally Saturday at Dordt College in northwest Iowa. The 1,500-seat theater completely filled, hundreds more watched his speech from an...

During a Wednesday morning interview on "Fox & Friends," Republican front-runner criticized the group of celebrities boycotting the Academy Awards on the grounds they are "too white." "I think it's really sad," noted the real estate tycoon. "I think it's a tough situation. I saw somebody on your show today say, 'well, what do we do with BET?' Whites don't get any nominations, and I thought it was an amazing interview. I'd never even thought of it from that standpoint.
