BSO said a driver in an SUV breached two security points outside President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago, and law-enforcement officers fired their weapons at the vehicle. PALM BEACH — Two people are in custody after law enforcement opened fire near President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate following a car chase, according to the sheriff’s office. An SUV breached two security points outside Trump’s Palm Beach home, and law enforcement fired their weapons at the vehicle, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said. It was not immediately known which agency those law-enforcement officers worked for. The Florida Highway Patrol and a PBSO helicopter...
  • [2011] Donald Trump did not vote in a primary election for 21 years (from 2011)

He's talking about running the country, but Donald Trump's record on voting in elections, or rather the lack of it, is coming under fire. The New York City Board of Elections says Mr Trump did not vote in any primary elections for 21 years. The registered Republican, who has been touting himself as a prospective presidential candidate, would first need to get GOP voters to nominate him in a primary - a process in which official records show Trump repeatedly failed to participate in. Mr Trump became a Democrat in 2001, and documents show he ignored that party's primaries as...

Unlike many of the Republican Party's leaders and presidential candidates, Rep. Reid Ribble (R-Wis.) is willing to both bash Donald Trump and rule out supporting him if he becomes the party's nominee. "My first oath is to the Constitution of the United States. Donald Trump has taken positions contrary to that document, so I could not support him and uphold my oath," Ribble told "So That Happened," the HuffPost Politics podcast.
  • Trump Doesn’t Represent the Conservative Base

Trump Doesn’t Represent the Conservative Base Jonah Goldberg. Dec 11 There’s a tendency in politics to mistake personal animosity for ideological animosity. Consider Bill Clinton. His staggering dishonesty, tackiness, and scorn for the rule of law aroused a lot of anger from the Right. But he wasn’t really that left-wing. Oh, he was certainly more liberal in his heart than he let on, but he also worked from the assumption that this was a center-right country, and that limited what he could get away with. Clinton ran for president the first time by “triangulating” against the base of his own...
  • Ted Cruz leads REVOLT against Obama’s scheme for Syrian refugees

As President Obama continues to push forward with his insistence that the U.S. continue full steam ahead with welcoming an increasing influx of Syrian refugees — national security, will of the people be damned — one state is taking concrete action to block these plans. Who else but Texas, led by Senator — and GOP presidential candidate — Ted Cruz and Governor Greg Abbott.Introducing legislation that allows the governor of a state to reject the resettlement of a refugee in that state without adequate assurance that the refugee does not present a security risk, the move amounts to a revolt...
  • Why Donald Trump's poll numbers may actually be understated

Politico has a thoughtful piece explaining why Donald Trump's lead may not be as large as it seems. Reading the article carefully, I came away with the opposite conclusion. According to the latest polls, Donald Trump is in the lead with anywhere between 27% and 36% of the vote - quite a wide gap, depending on which poll you look at. The big problem with polls is you don't know exactly who is going to vote, and many people who are polled don't end up voting.

America’s short-term Trump problem will end in Iowa. As I wrote yesterday, I think America is facing a two-fold Trump problem. The proximate problem is that Donald Trump has been the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination since this summer, and the durability of his support suggests that he could in fact be the party’s nominee. The underlying problem is that America has a two-party political system, and one of the parties is receptive to a candidate such as Trump. I don’t have a solution to the latter problem. But the former problem, the proximate Trump problem, is going to...

Two federal agents operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are claiming that eight Syrian illegal aliens attempted to enter Texas from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. The federal agents spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity, however, a local president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) confirmed that Laredo Border Patrol agents have been officially contacting the organization with concerns over reports from other federal agents about Syrians illegally entering the country in the Laredo Sector. The reports have caused a stir among the sector’s Border Patrol agents. The sources claimed that...
  • Vanity - Falling for Politico and Leftist Media Smears and Distortions

I never thought I'd see the day when Freepers let the lying leftist media lead them around by the nose. I am a Cruz supporter. I also like Trump and Carson. Politico is doing a massive distortion smear on Carson, typical of the leftist media machine. They are very sophisticated at using lies and distortion and making it seem based on truth and objective analysis. If one wants to accept the leftist narrative and run with the leftist pack because it feels god, so be it. Yet don't cry when the same is done to Donald Trump and Ted Cruz,...
  • Ted Cruz – The Reality of The Situation…

“Polarizing” is a descriptive term used by a pontificating media to disparage various elements they find antithetical to their own worldview. Generally, when the term is used it is wrongly assigned. However, in the case of Ted Cruz it’s unfortunately accurate. When Jason Johnson sits down to discuss his pathway to the nomination with George Will, it says more about Jason Johnson than it does about those who read Will’s opinion of the aforementioned pathway. What it essentially says is there’s a need to affirm something that isn’t factually supported by any measure of quantifiable empirical evidence. Ted Cruz Value...
