It’s almost Thanksgiving, which means it’s time to start decorating for Christmas. Melania Trump accepted the delivery of the White House Christmas tree. While it’s not quite as big as the Rockefeller Plaza tree, it’s still a very impressive evergreen. Being the White House Christmas tree, this wasn’t just a regular old delivery. The tree was delivered by horse and buggy while the U.S. Marine Band played “O Christmas Tree,” AP News reports. The buggy was drawn by two horses named Cash and Ben. The 18-and-a-half foot tall Douglas fir will be the centerpiece of the White House Blue Room....

On Monday, the Trump family debuted their holiday card, which wishes Americans a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, instead of the generic, more politically correct, 'Happy Holidays.' That's different from last year's card sent out by President Obama, which included a family photo and wished Americans a 'joyous holiday season.' The Trump card is signed by President Trump, first lady Melania Trump and even 11-year-old Barron and was displayed in the White House's 'Bookseller's' area, as the Christmas decorations were unveiled today.

Schoolchildren at the White House were reportedly in awe of First Lady Melania Trump as she greeted them during a ceremony for the unveiling of Christmas decorations that she helped design. "She looks like an angel," one child reportedly said as Melania was embraced by a handful of schoolchildren when she emerged in the White House wearing a caped Christian Dior dress and a thin, gold belt to accent her small waist. "She seriously looks like an angel," one of the children said as they greeted Melania.
