New Mexico's main transparency group is urging U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) and his staff to release more information about his health following a stroke two weeks ago.Why it matters: Luján is notoriously private, but a lack of health updates is making some New Mexico Democrats nervous about the future of his seat in a 50-50 Senate. Driving the news: The New Mexico Foundation for Open Government said in a statement Tuesday that state residents have been "left confused and concerned" about the lack of information from the senator’s office."While all of us respect the family’s wishes for privacy...

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) will not run for the Senate, rebuffing overtures from senior Senate Republicans who had sought to put another seat in play during the midterm elections. At a press conference Tuesday, Hogan said he had considered a run but that he ultimately concluded he should focus on finishing out his second term as governor. Hogan is term-limited and cannot run for reelection this year. “I will not be a candidate for the United States Senate. This makes three Senate races this fall in which the GOP won’t be fielding its strongest possible candidate, almost certainly because moderate Republicans don’t want to come to Washington knowing they’ll have to operate under Trump’s thumb. Or potentially have to contend with a Trump-backed primary challenge before they’ve even won their seat.

New campaign filings show North Carolina U.S. Rep. Ted Budd brought in more money during the final three months of 2021 than his opponents in his bid for the Republican Party’s U.S. Senate nomination. For more than a week, Republicans from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Washington, D.C., have been shaken by the talk that Sen. John Thune might not seek reelection in 2022. The exit of three-termer Thune, No. 2 in the Senate Republican hierarchy behind Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, would make the odds better-than-even on Democrats winning his Senate seat.

VIDEOJack Posobiec tweeted that it was like Dr. Oz Googled "what's a Republican?" and read an article from the 1980s. However, we are now technologically advanced enough to so that Dr. Oz could have gone to a team of robotic engineers and asked them to program him to be like a Republican and they based their software on that same article from the 1980s.The big problem with such a computer program is that it could easily overload when subjected to pressure. One cause for his computer program to overload would be questions for his opinion on voter integrity.

In response to the recent tragedy in Oakland County, Michigan, what did the anti-gunners do? Following their standard course of action, they are politicizing the deaths of four high school teens in an attempt to undermine your constitutionally-protected rights. In fact, bowing to the will of their far-Left overlords, anti-gun senators are bringing H.R. 8 to the Senate floor—which is a bill to institute Universal Background Registration Checks (UBCs). And to make matters worse, they are trying to do this by unanimous consent—without an actual vote. Please, contact your Senators and make sure they know you’re opposed to H.R. 8...

VIDEOSleepy Joe's nominee for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Dale Ho, was caught blatantly lying under oath before the U.S. Senate. If there is at least one Democrat Senator who thinks lying to the Senate is disqualifying to serve as a judge, then his nomination is toast. Oh, and Sleepy Joe can convincingly claim that he wasn't even aware of Ho's existence since he can say he just signed a piece of paper his handlers put in front of him without him knowing what was even on it.

*** For the first six years he served in that office, he quietly plodded away, forging victories for freedom, the Constitution and conservative principles. But within the past year, the left finally took notice, and now that he is running for U.S. Senate, they have made him a target. The Arizona Republic runs nearly daily attacks on him. It’s become a joke that the editors and reporters there sit around every morning discussing who is going to write the latest hit piece on him and what it will cover. He’s been endorsed by Mark Levin, who told him “You’ve got...

But it’s not because they love Gavin Newsom so much or care about California politics. According to Just The News:Larry Elder said Friday that if he is elected California governor in the state recall of Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, he will...

Senate Democrats intend to erode as many barriers around the reconciliation process as possible. Now, it looks like they've cleared the first hurdle.Senate Democrats continue to chip away at the Senate’s rules in an effort to jam through as much of President Joe Biden’s agenda as possible. In February, Democrats passed a $1.9 trillion spending bill using the process of budget reconciliation — a fast track procedure that cannot be filibustered. Now, based on a recent opinion issued by the Senate’s parliamentarian, Senate Democrats may have the opportunity to do it again, and again, and again.Rather than upending the legislative...

Sean Parnell, a decorated combat veteran and favorite of former President Donald Trump, is all but certain to run for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, according to a Republican official who spoke with Parnell this week. “He said he was 99% sure this is what he was going to do,” said Sam DeMarco, the Republican chairman in Allegheny County, where Parnell came up just short in a high-profile bid for Congress last year. “If he does make that decision, he’s going to be a formidable candidate.” Parnell has begun calling top GOP officials in Pennsylvania to discuss a potential 2022 Senate...
