Free Republic

I was reading the text of the interview between Kalb and Rather and learned that the Rather story on Bush's aborted National Guard service was thwarted by "blogs" called "Free Republic" and "Buckhead." I did find a Buckhead.org, but it just seems to be a bland Atlanta area news source, so I don't know the story in that. So I came here. And guess what? Nothing. Your story page is nothing more than boilerplate site/conservative mission comments. I really don't know why this blog is meaningful at all. I would guess the main stream media has nothing to worry about.

has anyone seen this before? How does this happen?

Could all problems cause move by US to take aggressive action. Could problems justify such moves? Maybe.

How do we, as republicans, prevent the spread of bile under the guise of conservatism? this site is whacked. The whole website claims to oppose somthing with one side of it's mouth and then goes around supporting basically the same thing. You all claim to oppose Islam but advocate the same things they do. You even worship the same god they do. You claim to support free speech and religious liberty but demand that the seperation of church and state that has protected religious freedom be torn down and anyone who says anything critical about Bush, Rush or any so called conservative thrown out. Gas costs so much. I cant afford it. Why want Bush do something? Don't say he can't. His daddy or his handlers could be on the phone in 2 minutes with the Rothchilds and by 1 week, oil prices would be under $20 and gas would be 1 dollar a gallon. You know it and I know it. Pardon the vanity but I believe this will make for an intriguing thread. I have been following rather closely this I-Pod phenomenon with interest. There was a piece in USA Today last week where they compare the I-Pod users with cult members. One 20 something was quoted as saying "my I-Pod changed my life." IMHO, that means this individual was in serious need of a life. Now follow me here. Libs complain about those of us in the "radical religious Right." Yesterday was a bitter day indeed for our friends at DirtyUnderpants.com. President Bush was inaugurated for his second term (not that French guy whose name escapes me at the moment)...NOT ONE DAMN DIME DAY turned quickly to WASTE OF DAMN TIME DAY...Che and Karl are STILL dead...
