In yet another unhinged rant, Mr. Michael L. “Mikey” Weinstein, founder and president of the inaptly named Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), has once again claimed that the sky is falling in the U.S. military. And, once again, he has moronically equated sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the military to violent Islamic jihadism. Mr. Weinstein has characterized sharing one’s faith in Christ in uniform as part of a plot aiming at “a systemic hostile takeover of the U.S. military by lunatic, fundamentalist Christians.” He has labelled Christian Service Members who simply wish to obey the Great Commission as...

Yes it's true....Harvey Weinstein, Morgan Freeman, Barack Hussein Obama and, yes, add Hillary Clinton are for certain, birds of a feather that flock and belong together in prison. Can you imagine that "Sex Predaters", Weinstein & Morgan were abusing and using women without their consent for their weird sex escapades while they were financing and shouting out to Americans to support and elect both Obama and Clinton as POTUS. Clinton and soon, Obama will have been found to have committed worse crimes against the people and nation of the United States of America. If you don't think so...just just tuned...

Harvey Weinstein surrendered at a New York City police station shortly before 7.30 a.m. Friday, where he was arrested and charged with rape, criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct for incidents involving two separate women. The disgraced movie mogul, 66, was filmed and photographed arriving at the police station flanked by uniformed police officers and with a limp. He was also carrying three books, two of which TIME has identified. One of the books was Something Wonderful: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Broadway Revolution by Todd S. Purdum, which was released in April. The other appeared to be Richard Schickel’s...

Harvey Weinstein is expected to surrender to authorities Friday to face charges related to alleged sexual misconduct in connection to a probe by the Manhattan District Attorney's office and NYPD, the Daily News has confirmed. The fallen former Hollywood honcho is facing charges in connection to at least one accuser — Lucia Evans — who reported to investigators that Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on him in 2004, sources said. Because of the nature of the allegations, the statute of limitations does not apply. A special grand jury was also being presented with evidence related to possible financial...

The parents of Trayvon Martin claim The Weinstein Company is trying to weasel out of its obligation to pay them at least $150,000. Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin filed paperwork in federal bankruptcy court in Delaware on Friday claiming TWC signed a deal in March 2017 promising to pay the six-figure amount to produce a TV series based on their book, "Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin."

Huma Abedin says she’s grown incredibly close to fashion designer Georgina Chapman, the estranged wife of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, saying the pair is part of a club of women whom “people don’t feel sorry for.” “We just…bonded,” said Abedin, who is similarly estranged from her husband, former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), in the June issue of Vogue released Thursday. Weiner is serving a 21-month prison sentence for sexting a 15-year-old girl. Abedin, a former top aide to Hillary Clinton who served as vice chair of Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, filed for divorce from him last year. She told...

Just days after the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted to expel Roman Polanski from its ranks, the director's attorney sent a letter to the organization Tuesday morning, arguing the move was unlawful and threatening to take legal action if Polanski is not granted a hearing. In his letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Times, Polanski's attorney, Harland Braun, said the academy had failed to follow both its own rules and California law in denying the Oscar-winning director a chance to present his own case. "We are not here contesting the merits of the expulsion...

NEW YORK (AP) — The Weinstein Co. filed for bankruptcy protection on Monday with a buyout offer in hand from a private equity firm, the latest twist in its efforts to survive the sexual misconduct scandal that brought down co-founder Harvey Weinstein, shook Hollywood and triggered a movement that spread out to convulse other industries. The company also announced it was releasing any victims of or witnesses to Weinstein’s alleged misconduct from non-disclosure agreements preventing them from speaking out.

A Virginia man was sentenced yesterday to two years in prison for stealing more than 100 Civil War-era documents from the National Archives, including some he tried to sell on eBay. Howard Harner, 68, took letters authored by Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and other historical figures. Federal prosecutors sought a lengthy sentence to help discourage trafficking in stolen American history. Harner, of Staunton, pleaded guilty in March to hiding the documents in his clothing and smuggling them out of a National Archives research room from 1996 to 2002. Prosecutors said he made $47,314 by selling the documents to a...

Street artist Sabo plastered California buildings and benches with fake movie posters featuring actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and disgraced mega-producer Harvey Weinstein standing next to each other, a near-mirror image of the film art for Schwarzenegger’s 1988 comedy classic Twins. The faux film posters see the former California governor wearing a “No Fossil Fuels” pin, while Weinstein (like Danny DeVito, much shorter in stature and leaning on Schwarzenegger) dons a “No NRA” button — a nod to Weinstein’s October pledge to “channel [his] anger” at the NRA. Blaring at the bottom of the posters are the anti-sexual harassment hashtag “#MeToo,” and...

London (AFP) - Harvey Weinstein's lawyer said Saturday a woman having sex with a Hollywood producer to advance her career is "not rape", in a British newspaper interview on the eve of the Oscars. Ben Brafman is one of the US' top criminal defence attorneys, hired by the disgraced Hollywood mogul whose career is in tatters following accusations of sexual harassment, assault and rape. More than 100 women have accused Weinstein of impropriety going back 40 years, but Brafman argued there was no criminal behaviour.

Even the customary Oscar gift bags given to top nominees before Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony indicated that this year's celebration would be anything but show business as usual. --snip-- "Harvey" was personally thanked or praised by award winners such as Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Renee Zellweger in at least 34 Oscar speeches from 1993 to 2016, and no last name was required. According to one analysis of nearly 1,400 Oscar speeches, the man behind films such as "Pulp Fiction" and "The King's Speech" was thanked more often than God. He'd sit up front, the camera seemingly always on him,...

A robe-swaddled Harvey Weinstein statue, sitting arms spread on a golden chaise lounge urging pedestrians to sit beside him, appeared in Hollywood on Thursday days before the 90th Academy Awards ceremony. The sculpture, located on Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, is a collaboration between street artists Plastic Jesus, best known for his annual Oscar season installations that take aim at the dark side of show business, and Joshua "Ginger" Monroe, the artist behind the infamous naked Donald Trump statues. The piece was intentionally crafted to allow passers-by to sit beside Weinstein and take photos with him. Clenched in Weinstein's...

Everybody does Throwback Thursday because it’s fun to remember, for better or worse, the way we were: the fashion, food, politics and culture of by-gone eras. Until last year I thought of it less as nostalgia and more as a history of a dying culture. Now I can view it as a chronicle of America in the process of making itself great again. See what you think. H/T EVRI’m so old that some of these old things are new again, like TV rabbit ears, fallout shelters/drills (thank you Obama - and what happened to that Trump/Putin collusion?), vinyl and turntables....

A longtime Hollywood exec who served as Rose McGowan's manager when the actress was allegedly raped by Harvey Weinstein committed suicide Wednesday amid a slew of media attention her family says made her collateral damage in the pair’s war of words. Jill Messick's family said in a statement obtained by the Daily News she had battled depression for many years, but had recently been "victimized" by allegations put forth by McGowan and the subsequent response from Weinstein. The former Miramax production executive was McGowan's manager in January 1997, when the actress has claimed she was raped by Weinstein in a...

The LAPD has submitted three sexual abuse cases against Harvey Weinstein to the L.A. County District Attorney’s office for possible charges, a spokesman said Thursday. No details of the allegations were released. The LAPD has previously acknowledged that it was investigating a claim that Weinstein raped an Italian model at a hotel in 2013. The LAPD also said it was investigating an allegation that Weinstein committed “lewd acts” in 2015. The LAPD submitted the three cases on Feb. 1. The D.A.’s office can choose to file a case or decline to prosecute, but it may also request additional investigation or...

Yes, Uma Thurman is mad. She has been raped. She has been sexually assaulted. She has been mangled in hot steel. She has been betrayed and gaslighted by those she trusted. And we’re not talking about her role as the blood-spattered bride in “Kill Bill.” We’re talking about a world that is just as cutthroat, amoral, vindictive and misogynistic as any Quentin Tarantino hellscape. We’re talking about Hollywood, where even an avenging angel has a hard time getting respect, much less bloody satisfaction. Playing foxy Mia Wallace in 1994’s “Pulp Fiction” and ferocious Beatrix Kiddo in “Kill Bill,” Volumes 1...
