At the Million Vet March in DC people have torn down the barricades at the Lincoln Memorial and are carrying them to the White House to Barricade the White House. It appears that the Obama administration is violating the First Rule of Holes. Yesterday the administration looked awful when it “closed” and barricaded the World War II memorial on the Mall. The memorial is, by its nature, open. A campaign is underway to have God represented on the new World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. The President and First Lady went to Arlington Cemetery where the President laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He spoke briefly on the character of America's Military, past, present and future, active-duty, deceased, retired, or reserves, and their committment to the Country. Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld received a standing ovation that clearly touched him (no pictures I could find that showed this) and also gave a short speech on the dedication of America's Military.
