.......The Republic of Texas. We have everything we need here, from mountians to prairie to desert to tropical gardens. If we were a country right now, we would have the 10th largest economy in the world. We have at least 6 world class airports, I don't know how many seaports and and more oil wells than you can count. There are 4 or 5 silicon valley type areas in Texas...World leaders in electronics, automobile, consumer goods etc etc manufacturing and marketing......

On top of all this, you can live in about whatever weather you want....from bitter cold to tropical breezes.

There is no state income tax.
