A classical liberal. Campaigned for Douglas MacArthur in 1952, moved to Taft and reluctantly supported Ike. I learned many years ago that voting for a fake conservative republican was worse than not voting at all. They will either either fail to be elected or will fail in office and take the party down with them ala Dewey, Nixon, Ford, GHWB and GWB. Socialists and psuedo liberalism will always fail no matter the party label. Give them a wide berth. If failure is certain make sure it is the party of failure (democrats) that do the failing.
