I was a military cook for a few years (a morte in), Got out finished a degree in Electrical Engineering and thence into the trades onboard ships.

Ultimately I retired as professional naval engineer and professional mariner. I have unretired thrice and dabble with various projects around boatyards, and can provide small contract HVAC services plus electrical.

I am also pretty handy with the electric bass, mandolin, cello and a struggling trombone.

I keep my chef skills intact by cooking from scratch and the occassional fests I have been asked to arrange and provide my services for. I am interested in geology and mineralogy, astronomical navigation and I also enjoy fishing occasionally along with upland bird hunting. Pig hunting with my sons has also become more than an interest. In warmer wx I have been known to spend an inordinate amount of time at the driving range.
