Ok. Someone actually looked at my profile page, so I guess I should put in a little more info.

I came across a reference to Free Republic while reading Rush Limbaugh's site, and decided to check it out, about two weeks before the elections (2004) -- I was instantly hooked. I lurked for about a month before registering.

I consider myself a Christian Conservative. I think I have always been mostly conservative, having voted for Reagan before I became a Christian, but my views on moral conservative issues such as abortion (I am pro-life, naturally) have developed with my understanding of the Bible.

While I enjoy dabbling, I'm not here strictly for politics. I enjoy FR mostly as a place to get news, in near real-time, with commentary from those with a similar mindset. It has been refreshing getting to know folks here.
