I’m a mom and have been basically conservative or libertarian for as long as I can remember. I registered to vote the day I turned 18 and I have never missed a major election. I’ve never missed a minor election since I moved to Ohio 13 years ago, so long as I can find out about them, which I usually can. But the election rules here in Ohio are crazy odd. You really have to be on your toes 24/7 here.

I have zero faith in the Republican party and am so sick of the flawed “reason” I have to vote for them that I might have become completely nuts over it. But I’m just going to keep praying that either the Republican party reforms or a new party emerges that is better. And I’ll keep showing up for every election while sticking to my guns and never again pulling the lever for someone who won’t do a good job.

Good candidates can step forward or the races with the evils to be sorted out as to which one is less scary can go unmarked.
