December 22, 2007:

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

And the time has come for me to say farewell to FreeRepublic, at least for a good, long time -- at least two years, maybe longer, maybe even forever. It's been truly great fun over these past 4-1/2 years, but I have other, important, things that I must devote my full time to.

And so, you won't be hearing from me again for a long time, at least. I won't be back before the year 2010... if even then.
