Aitken's BIBLE ENDORSED BY CONGRESS ... note that Aitken's petition (memorial) to Congress specified his efforts were to produce a "neat Edition of the Holy Scriptures for the use of schools" ... and that in 1782 the United States in Congress "highly approve the pious and laudable undertaking of Mr. Aitken".

"Islamic Americans" vs. America

The very first Supreme Court Justice John Jay said "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers." in a private letter to Jedidiah Morse in 1797 -- only 21 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Next time an "enlightened" citizen tells you this was not founded as a Christian nation, tell 'em where to go in an "enlightened" manner.

WOW -- Pretty funny. After all the years this quote has been on my profile, we just elected President Obama who actually said this very thing! How idiotic.

John Jay wrote to George Washington in 1787 "Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen."

Hmmm ... Guess this one applies to Obama as well.

Rep. John Bingham (author of the 14th Amendment) describing his understanding of the language of the Constitution as of 1866:

[I] find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill], which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen

Prior to 1866, Bingham is on the record discussing his understanding of citizenship in 1862 as having stated

"There is not a textbook referred to in any court which does not recognise the principle that I assert."

Irrefutably at one point in our nation's history, it was understood and taught and upheld in court that a natural born citizen was born in country of citizen parents. It's a shame our citizens have been so successfully "dumbed down" to this.
