Well, what do I want to say about myself..., hmmmm.

Okay, I'm an Okie by birth, bred a Southerner, raised a Texan and transplanted to Oregon (for many years), in the Pacific Northwest. That says a lot, right there. BUT, recently, I ended up in Texas again (for a while) and now back in Oklahoma, it seems. What a deal!

Now, for more..., I'm a Christian, for as long as I can remember. And I remember those sawdust floors and folding chairs. But, really, I believe I was a Christian from before the time I was born, although I do remember my "seven-year-old conversion" -- in one of those "big tents".

I'm also "pre-pre" (what I heard someone say on TV one time...). That's pre-millennial, pre-tribulational (is there any other way that the Bible describes it??!!). And also "dispensational". Christ is coming again, will reign on earth for His Millennial Reign (i.e., the "thousand years"). There are three groups in the Bible -- the Church, Israel and the Gentiles. Christ rules the world and is also seated upon the Throne of David in Jerusalem ruling over Israel, when He comes again.

    Isaiah 9:6-7

    For unto us a Child is born.
    Unto us a Son is given;
    And the government will be upon His shoulder.
    And His name will be called
    Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

    Of the increase of His government and peace
    There will be no end,
    Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
    To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
    From that time forward, even forever.
    The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
