Fast and Furious
Anyone who takes the time to study F&F, and the cover up, figures out pretty quickly that the operation was not a low level screw up at all. A whole bunch of federal agencies (ATF, DHS, DOJ, FBI, CIA, State Department and White House) worked in unison to insure the 2000 + assault weapons were delivered to the Sinaloan drug cartel.
So after you figure that out you start to ask yourself, “Why would our government want to do this? Why would they want to promote mayhem and murder? ”
To answer this question you need to step back and look at other recent actions, and a few failed attempts, by Obama. Then you start to see the big picture.
It’s all about:
1. Creating crisis
2. Restricting gun ownership
3. Destabilizing our border with Mexico
4. Eliminating personal freedom
5. Controlling and monitoring communication and travel
6. Increasing dependency on Mid East oil
7. Controlling the food supply
8. Controlling access to Health Care
9. Destroying the free enterprise system
10. Increasing overall poverty
Fast and Furious is one part of an overall plan to generate a much larger crisis. Obama and his cohorts want to hear the people to cry out for more government intervention: “Help us, we are desperate”, the people will plead, “Take control if you must but give us what we need to survive.”
This is happening all the time and it is not by accident. This is how the Obama regime is working to create a socialist state.

Racial Tension
The home of racial tension is the Democrat Party. And the party of freedom, as opposed to dependency, is the Republican Party. Conservative ideology is rooted in Judeo Christian morality and personal responsibility. Modern liberal ideology is rooted in the promotion of immorality, government dependency, and ultimately complete submission to tyrannical government rule. Those Americans who embrace the former, whether white or black, generally find an avenue to improved social and economic status while those who choose the later always find despair.
The Republican Party came into existence out of the need for a national force to bring about the abolition of slavery. The Democrat Party, in both the North and the South, insisted on the continuation of black bondage. Liberal academia loves to claim that Republican Party ascendency, over the last 40 years among White Southerners, is due to a hidden racist element in conservative ideology. In reality it is the absence of racism, in conservatism, that appeals to the more intelligent and moral citizens of our land, whether dwelling in the North or the South and whether White or Black. During the 100 years or so, following the assassination of Lincoln, most White Southerners began shedding their previously held, and unfounded, fears of black equailty. As acceptance of racial equality grew these folks also shed allegiance to the Democrat Party.
The Democrat Party is the home of slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow laws, lynchings, racial paranoia, the promotion of black genocide through abortion, the disintegration of the family through the government plantation (welfare) system. The root cause and home of racial tension is now, and has always been, the Democrat Party. If more Republicans simply remembered and communicated these historical facts the sooner we might undo the damage caused by the left.

The Prince of Fools
The quote below is from an unknown writer in the Czech Republic:
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

Christianity
Although Free Republic is primarily a political forum I am sometimes frustrated that so many Americans are under the influence of some satanic force. I do not know how else we can explain the election of people like Obama/Pelosi/Reid etc.
How do we turn these folks around? The struggle may require more than using the logic of our conservative position. We may also need to work on getting their hearts changed. Through scripture we can help these folks learn the truth and find the correct avenue to a wonderful new relationship with author of life.
So, for the benefit of those lost souls who may be lurking on this page, or for those who may want to help these folks, I now present:
Steps to Salvation and the Beginning of a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ
It is as easy as "ABC"
A - Admit (or acknowledge) we are sinners. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that:
For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.
B - Believe that Christ died for our sins. The Bible states in John 3:16 that:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
C - Call on the Lord. The Bible states in Romans 10:13:
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Also for "C" I think of the Cross. When Jesus went willingly to the Cross he carried with him the sins of the world. Then He made complete payment for our sins, in these hours of anguish on the cross, so that our personal redemption with Father in Heaven might be possible. That moment in time and space, when Jesus paid for our sins, stands eternal and is accessible by all of mankind. If we come to the cross of Jesus and ask Him to be our lord and savior then this contract of redemption is completed and we are saved.
Jesus says in Revelation 3:19-20
Those whom I love I discipline and rebuke. So be earnest, and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with me.
