I don't know when whining and crying became so popular Must have been the last time you tried to have sex ;)
Seriously, I don't recall any "whining" and "crying" after the Laker's two previous championships. That's because they earned them on the court and not as a result of the referee's lack of integrity or sponsor's wet dream.

The Kings are better up and down the roster, but Shaq is the equalizer.
The officiating was pretty awful, extremely inconsistent, perhaps slightly favoring the Lakers.
Until someone bigger and badder than Shaq comes along, the Lakers (as long as Shaq has Kobe to help him out) will likely win several more titles.

Sacramento Kings--2002 NBA Western Conference Runners-Up* *Could have been 2002 Western Conference and NBA Champions if they'd gotten their business done.

Mark Kreidler disagrees with you, Queens' fan.

ROFL!! HA, HA, HA!

My point is simply that the public portrays these two as though they are great individuals who truly give back to the community. Kobe does actually do some stuff for underprivileged kids. He does for our school or I should say he used to a few years ago. Shaq is just a phony all around. I couldn't care less. I'm not a big basketball fan so I have no animosity toward a particular team. However, it is quite clear that these Lakers are classless and certainly lack graciousness of the '90's era Bulls. People need to differentiate between the basketball player and the human being.

It's true. The Kings are a good team. They could have beat the Lakers. There were some moments when I thought they were going to. But they didn't finish the job, and the Lakers did. And speaking of class, the Lakers didn't celebrate before they won anything, like, say, the Kings did. Hope they get number four next year.

Oh, really? You mean including the two jewels, Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippin. There's two great role models for you. One's a thug, and the other refused to go into a Finals' game because the last play of the game wasn't for him. Yeah, right. That's class, all right. I guess coming from where you are that's the definition of class.

Impressive. Somehow, you managed to disguise your comments on the Game 6 analysis amidst the clutter of your post. Must be behind the asterisk. Amazing that the Lakers won game 6 at all, considering that if the refs had done their job, they would've had more FT's and Webber would've fouled out. Vlade would've fouled out in the 3rd quarter. Seems they really worked hard to keep the Kings in the series, doesn't it?

Bashing Queens' fans is like taking a rifle in a shooting gallery. Don't this people seem to be eerily as irrational as the Libs, whining about Bush winnning after the 2000 presidential election? I question whether these are rally Libs in Conservatives clothing. I can't see how they can make the opinions that they do with a straight face.

NBA is easily compariable to boxing and wreastling now. It was the biggest bogus series I had ever seen. The whole thing is arranged...like a soap opera. Obviously, the market share is what drives the NBA today. I will never watch another NBA game. I am going back to the college hoops....they are still pure and fun.

Obviously, the market share is what drives the NBA today. I guess that's why the Finals went 4 games, losing money for NBC.

I suppose it didn't occur to you that the refs were bailing out the Kings on this play, did it? I could tell you why, but then someone as observant as you should be able to catch it themselves. At first I was really perplexed by this statement, but then I remembered that LA is home to Rodney King.
So,what kind of "Rodney King" logic will you use to explain that wrong call? Bibby's nose deserved it?

The refs have too big of a role in the game. They blow the friggin' whistle every 30 seconds. This game now seems to breed a "get away with what I can, whine about the rest" attitude.
Football is coming up in just a couple of months. Thank heavens.

So what...the Lakers are the most boring team in sports. I bet they couldn't lace up a pair of skates and play like real athletes namely, hockey players. GO RED WINGS TONIGHT!
