Former FBI Director James Comey said Sunday he thinks imprisoning former President Trump is “obviously doable,” despite some logistic hurdles. In an interview on “Inside with Jen Psaki” on Sunday, Comey was asked about some of the public’s concerns about the logistical challenges that may arise if law enforcement institutions try to imprison Trump — who was convicted this past week on 34 felony counts of falsifying false business records to cover up a scheme to conceal potentially damaging information before the 2016 presidential election.

The Donald Trump campaign has raised a staggering $200 million since the former president was found guilty of 34 felonies last Thursday, his son Eric Trump said Sunday. Eric, who is married to The Republican National Committee (RNC) Co-Chair Lara Trump, said she told him the figure was comprised of over $70 million in small donor fundraising in the three days since his father was found guilty of 34 felonies related to falsifying business records. 'This might be a little inside information, but as I was leaving my house about 37 seconds ago, I asked my wife, what are we...

Donald Trump risks being a “loser president” if he wins November’s election and imposes a bad peace deal on Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said, saying it would mean the end of the US as a global “player”. – In an interview with the Guardian in Kyiv, Mr Zelenskiy said he had “no strategy yet” for what to do if Trump returned to the White House, and that the former British prime minister Boris Johnson had approached him on his behalf. If Trump beats Joe Biden, he is widely expected to cut off US military support to Ukraine. Last year Trump...

Her late husband Sheldon Adelson didn’t cut checks in 2016 for Trump until September of that yearMiriam Adelson, the wife of the late billionaire Sheldon Adelson, has reportedly pledged to spend more than $100 million to support former President Donald Trump in the upcoming general election after staying neutral in the Republican presidential primaries this year. Adelson, an Israeli-born physician who specializes in substance abuse, is set to finance a rejuvenated pro-Trump super PAC, Preserve America, which was initially formed for Trump’s reelection bid in 2020, Politico reported Thursday. The Adelsons contributed $90 million to Trump in that election cycle....

Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Sunday said that “every American should accept the results” of the upcoming presidential election, as some Republicans repeatedly refuse to say whether they’ll accept the results, regardless of who wins. Speaking to CNN’s “Inside Politics,” McCarthy also blasted Democrats for challenging “every single Republican elected president since George Bush,” specifically blaming Maryland Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin for saying that “Trump should be impeached before he was even sworn in.” “This is a question that’s for the whole American public. We’ve gotta get beyond it,” McCarthy added.

Biden admin offers ‘mass amnesty’ to migrants as it quietly terminates 350,000 asylum cases: sources While the Biden administration is attempting to look like it’s getting tough on the border, behind the scenes it’s operating a program of a “mass amnesty” for migrants, The Post can reveal. Data shows that since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by migrants have been closed by the US government if the applicants don’t have a criminal record or are otherwise not deemed a threat to the country. This means that while the migrants are not granted or denied asylum — their cases...

Speculation is running rampant about the need for a “hook” to get the Supremes to consider cert on the bogus Bragg conviction. Recall that the alleged “falsified” business records all supposedly occurred in 2017. Last time I checked, Trump was president at the time. I’m not a lawyer, but if SCOTUS reaffirms broad presidential immunity (as I believe they will, definitely after the clown show in New York) on the basis of separation of powers, this will upend the J6 case, almost all of the documents case and the Fulton RICO case in its entirety. At a minimum, a broad...

The Biden administration is doing an end-run around the nation’s immigration laws — by giving migrants work permits in record numbers. Since President Biden took office, more than 3.3 million migrants have been given a Employment Authorization Document (EAD), commonly known as the federal work permit, even though many didn’t even legally have the right to be America. And as of February of this year, pending EAD applications stood at an another 1.4 million. In many cases, migrants are given the right to work before they are even given asylum, a green card or other legal documentation that allows them...

The official Facebook page for the U.S. Navy SEALs and Naval Special Warfare Command was mocked this weekend for marking the start of "pride month." Backlash to the post surged when it was highlighted on the popular "Libs of TikTok" page on X, formerly known as Twitter. The post had no caption and included a photo with rainbow designs that read, "NSW. Dignity. Service. Respect. Equality. Pride." Libs of TikTok shared the post to X on Saturday, writing, "The Navy SEALs have gone woke. Our elite special forces. This is terrifying." The special warfare account took steps to limit the...

Multiple legal experts have cited multiple legal reasons why Trump’s guilty verdict is likely to be overturned on appeal. I am listing some of their reasons here, but there are a lot more reasons at the links:Judges are supposed to be chosen at random. But this judge was selected on purpose.Judges aren’t supposed to make political donations. But this judge had donated to multiple anti-trump organizations. The main crime that Trump was convicted of was a misdemeanor, and the statute of limitations had expired. However, the prosecutor updated it to a felony, and used some other crime to avoid the statute...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government begrudgingly accepted President Biden's plan for a cease-fire in Gaza on Sunday. Biden had issued the plan on Friday, and Netanyahu initially responded with dismissal. Hamas has indicated it favors the plan, though no formal agreement has been made. Ophir Falk, chief foreign policy advisor to Netanyahu described Biden's plan in an interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times, saying it was "a deal we agreed to — it's not a good deal but we dearly want the hostages released, all of them." "There are a lot of details to be worked out," he said,...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said he would “not attend” a speech given by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Republican and Democrat lawmakers invited Netanyahu to speak before a “Joint Meeting of Congress.” Sanders issued a press release on Saturday describing Netanyahu as a “war criminal” and stating that he “should not be invited to address a joint meeting of Congress.” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) wrote a letter addressed to Netanyahu on Friday, inviting him to speak before a “Joint...

The Department of Justice pushed back on the releasing of the audio tapes of special counsel Robert Hur's interview with President Joe Biden, citing "deep fake" concerns. The DOJ stated that if the audio tapes were released, they could potentially be altered by artificial intelligence and passed off as authentic. “The passage of time and advancements in audio, artificial intelligence, and ‘deep fake’ technologies only amplify concerns about malicious manipulation of audio files,” a Friday filing obtained by Politico states. “To be sure, other raw material to create a deepfake of President Biden’s voice is already available, but release of...

A Democratic congressman has publicly called on Gov. Hochul to pardon former President Donald Trump after he was found guilty this week of falsifying business records — for the sake of the nation. Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) said a Trump conviction only helps his campaign. “Donald Trump is a serial liar, cheater, and philanderer, a six-time declarer of corporate bankruptcy, an instigator of insurrection, and a convicted felon who thrives on portraying himself as a victim. @GovKathyHochul should pardon him for the good of the country,” Phillips declared in a X post Friday.
